This is why i miss cartridge based gaming. I dont recall any of my nintendo products prior to the gamecube ever haveing any issue doing its intended goal (play a game)
the ones from verifone Do in fact have a "tamper detected" error if the device is tampered with in any way, in fact it can be a little to touchy at times. It does not "brick it" per se, but it does have to be sent back to verifone for reprogramming and the store is sent a new one. at least thats how my experience has been
not that your fear is misplaced but perhaps you should do a little bit more research on the topic. Square devices are just as secure as those fancy pin readers (disclosure - I work for a pin pad company now) When the card is swiped in a square device, the owner of the device has no electronic record of the numbers to keep for his own use, just like a store does not have a card number to keep for its own use. Sure a hacker may be able to break the encryption and get the information, but it does not seem that likely, no more likely than putting a skimmer on an ATM or gas pump anyway
generally a logged in user will provide proof to back himself up, as to not look foolish. when hiding behind the AC, more likely to spout off at the mouth rather than provide facts.
The rest? Absolute nutbags, afraid that their kids will learn about Jonnhy's Two Dads instead of how Jesus ride a dinosaur. WRAA! Must. Defeat. Human. Secular. Agenda!
that changed the way the post came out, you started off with your anacdotal evidence, than said because of your evidence the above quote is true
I wasnt even a part of this thread, im just sick of cowards calling out for sources, not providing any and then when a source is provided, its ignored. well you know what? those people will never get it anyway, they have in their minds what they want to believe and thats all there is to it.
the problem is the facts dont back your claim. for example, not ALL black people are bad and commit crimes, statistically they commit more crimes than other yes but even then its still a small minority of them who commit crimes, yet that is what is generally reported
same is true here, the information is easy to find, the majority of home schooled kids are not running around thinking the world is only 6K years old, its just those are the ones we see in the news.
why go all the way back to reagan? how many issues can we say that with obama? benghazi? obamacare website? the list goes on and on about things im not sure is better, him lying about knowing or not really knowing
I personally love how if we americans demand to arm our selves from protection we are somehow the bad guys in the eyes of the government, yet when one of their own gets shot its time to arm up! hypocrisy at its best people
ok i see how i may have misworded it a little bit however the point stands. I shouldnthave to pay taxes on something that I gain on money that has been taxed. In other words that money i have invested means i cant spend it anywhere else, its tied up and i should see the gains on that without the government getting involved. tax those gains i will find somewhere else to put my money. gold for example
well lets put it out there since alot of you like to talk about how good or bad it is without talking about it.
I work, I save up a few hundred bucks. that money is taxed as income. I then decide I want to invest it, in say apple or MS or tesla or (insert whatever wont get your panties in a bunch since this is only for argument sake)
I then take that already taxed income and use it to prop up another business instead of spending it on xx or YY
why in the hell should my money thats already been taxed at income levels be taxed again???
what were you guys thinking when you made diablo 3 always online only? Most the people I know who love the first 2 installments used the game as single player or at lan parties. sure multiplayer is fun but why the necessity to always be on? the RMAH has been such a flop that it is being removed from the game so there is 0 reason that the game needs to be online to play a single player game
as someone job hunting right now for a ERP position Ive actually found linkdin to be pretty helpful vs other job posting sites. its a step up from a normal job posting site but a step below a recruiter IMO. but than again YMMV

if you like your insurance, you can keep it... PERIOD

way to deflect. just because something else is shit has nothing to do with why this is shit, try and stay on topic.
its got what computers crave
or maybe "they" are the reason for so many more dupes!

why the NSA would need to seek out new team members, you would think they already know who the brightest and best are from the data collected!

its not about enforcing the law, not this anyway its about protection, why should the TSA be allowed to protect themselves and we the people cant?

what part of "shall not infringe" is so hard to grasp?? I am sick of the do as i say not as i do attitude of this government.
