    for the most part you got it right. If the states want to do something, its up to them. IT is much easier to get things done in a state then at the federal level. if we dont like what happens in NY it is easy enough to move to NJ. The 10th amendment is pretty clear that 99% of what the federal government does is unconstitutional and us libertarians simply want the federal government to do what the constitution allows, and nothing more. lets the states do things their way and let the best states prosper

    last i checked hillary wasnt a bush appointee and she had no idea what was going on 8 months ago, eventhough she got a phone call an hour after the attacks started. we got the head of the DOJ allowing guns to flow into mexico. but yes, 5 years affter bush is gone, kids in kindergarten never had bush as their president, but lets keep blaming him for all the worlds problems... not the person in charge now. thats the ameri...democratic way!

    to be fair they are only 2 orgs for the sole reason to get around the IRS, not that there is anything wrong with it as the law is written but if you dont think they are split in 2 companies for the sake of skirting the intent of the law i dont know what to tell ya

    exactly. I remember a 100,000$ offer to anyone who could prove that the black congressman was spit on (since it was video taped from many angles) Last I checked no one has proved it happened yet....

    just because you follow the social networks does not mean you have any idea what is going on. try going to a tea party rally or meeting, you will see its not the nutbags you see posting who show up there but people who actually try and have a plan. The internet gives the lowest of the low a voice, and since its in print and it never goes away, it stands out. All those "subtext" you pointed out i dont hear anyone say other than the loons on the net and a few loons on the radio. no different then what happened to bush except for this time its the opposite party.

    you do know there are many good reasons to not like obama other than his skin color right? The only people I hear talking about his skin color is those on the left trying to attribute it to those on the right. other than a few loons I dont see anyone on the right talking about obamas skin color. We are all more worried about his policies.

    on your last point i wil lsimply point out that murders have been cut in half since the early 90s to around10K people. America has a population of 400 million plus.

    Id say the laws on the books are more than enough

    The murder rate in the us has drops from almost 20K in the early 90s to just about 10K last year. If we can cut murder by 1/2 in 20 years with assault rifle bans expiring in the process. I dont see why we need any new laws.

    Because a lot of guns that are rare get turned in. it would be much better off to let someone buy them instead of destroying a perfectly good and rare tool.
