wouldnt the same be true for MS (360) and sony (ps) for that statement to be accurate?
the landscape is changing, no question about it, but right now at this point in time, I dont see consoles declining. Sure phone games, and even PC games seem to be making a comeback, but the console still reins as the "go to" while phone games , at this point in time, are filler.
I am not sure I grasp what you are saying, You dont NEED to have a voice data contract with an ipad or any other tablet, Its available, but not mandatory. What does the ipod touch and android have anything to do with the comment???
The point is simply that we shouldnt HAVE to jump through hoops to do thats that were trivial years ago. Sure you and I can do it, but we shouldnt HAVE to tinker with something to gain a function that was available as a standard feature 5,10 hell even 15 years ago. No apple isnt the only one to blame, but they are the worst when it comes to it
I dont think anyone made an argument that games cant have both, Simply that a game with great grafix can suck balls, just as games without good grafix can be amazing. a link to the past? by todays standards the grafix suck. but the game is still just as good as it was 20 years ago. And lets not also forget the fact that at release PS3 was 600 bucks while the wii could be had for 250. the gap has shrunk but "good enough grafix" and good games for a reasonable price, how can ya complain?
plus this is slashdot, I thought giving M$ and $ony our money was bad and nintendo was good.....
It really isnt though, I just finally got around to hacking my OG xbox and I have been spending more time playing games from around 85 to 95 than anything new, Last new game I bought was forza on 360 dialo 3 on PC, but I have been using more free time to play mario bro 3 and sonic the hedgehog and I enjoy it just as much now as anything new
I havent been in a college in a while, but while I was there in 2003 as a freshman, we had 2 separate networks, the academic network and the dorm network, with VPN connection between the 2. Using that method, based on your work, What would you say the needs of simply the academic side of the network is?
Or maybe the magic rocket fairy will come down and sprinkle some stardust on everyone and there will be an influx of economic growth in the area and the lands will be fine due to the fact that the fuel is not the same as what NASA was using in the 60s. OR maybe spaceX comes up with some new battery tech that will launch a projectile into space, while powering a car for 400 years.
we are just playing the what if game rather than anything based on fact right?
Well for one, I dont give a damn about no birdwatching, But I sure as hell would go and watch a spaceX launch. I would wager there is still a decent amount of fans of rocket launches that will match or beat the bird watchers, and we still have no real proof that rockets "make the birds go away" last I checked, there are still birds in FLA.
Launches dont happen every day for one thing, second of all the launches in FLA have been scaring the crap out of animals for 50 years now, I think fla still has animals.
environmentalists in texas is funny to me though, didnt think any of those existed.
guns REALLY are not that easy to get, here in NY im going on 6 months waiting on the state to do its thing after filling out ungodly amounts of paperwork. and the worst part about it is that it takes someone this long when it can be had on the street illegally in a matter of hours depending on locale. Its the same argument for illegal immigration, its too much paperwork and its easier to just try and cross the border.
I in no way condone the purchase of illegal firearms.
first you claim if there is no gun the person is less likely to commit suicide...period.
than you say puting a fence up will make it less likely, with a qualifier, by jumping off the bridge
the REAL point you meant to make without knowing it is that a person who wants to commit suicide, will find a way to commit suicide, you can attempt to stop them by taking their guns, but they still got knives, cars, water and a cinderblock, you get the point.
well than i guess someone should convince the democrats that guns are not evil like they want to believe and the NRA would support them as well
if you run an org, you are going to support the people who support you, common sense says so. If I am an advocate for X and party A is against X and party B is for X... which party do you support???
it takes many materials to create an airline or a railroad, it takes a word processor and a compiliar to create a program, the knowledge part is free, and 1000% in your control. and with torrents out there, you can clearly get the tools needed to create such a product to suit your needs
this is/. , of course the best answer is build it yourself!
That it was, however when the republicans as a whole (not the singular who introduced it) bailed on it, the democrats continued to push for it. The obama admin has quite a few officials who were prior RIAA or MPAA members. but as I said, dont let the partisanship ruin things for you.
so...why dont you make all these pieces of software you believe should be made "your way"? I dont disagree with your wishlist, but dont just complain about it be about it
last I checked it wasnt the republicans who were pushing for more internet restrictions.... but dont let the partisanship get in the way of a good attack
the more and more time goes by, the more and more I am a fan of DMCA, at least compared to bills going through the works today, acta pipa and the like, the DMCA seems to be mostly common sense while protecting the majority involved.

get back to me when call of duty was around (or even possible) back in the 80s, COD is what 10 or so years old? in another 15 years, get back to me
