    Somehow I do not think apple not using bluray has anything to do with it not catching on. Apple still has a small market share when it comes to PCs/laptops. They may have a lot of sales in tablets/phones/ ipods, but than again there is no disc drive in any of those.

    exactly, there is the entire sony suing everyone who wants to mess with a PS3, there is the rootkit fiasco, I could go on and on. I really do not get how people could read into my comment the wrong way. Its not like im new here. Of course I feel for the people of japan, I should not even need to point that out.

    The problem is that (insert group here) will push for charges of a hate crime no matter what the problem. I got into a fist fight with someone a few years back,it was a bar fight a few bruises nothing major. The police wanted to charge me with a hate crime because I am white and he was not. eventhough he was the one who started the brawl! hate crimes are the same as thought crimes, you shouldnt be charged extra for killing a man whos skin is different than your own, the punishment should be the same for everyone, for every crime.

    no, im more scared of the unions in WI shooting people than I am of the tea party doing it I have been to the union protests as well as the tea party protests (I like to video tape world events) and the tea party people were much nicer and there was much less hate and i was never threatened.     I got to see the one in huntsville back in 96 (was 11 at the time, at space camp) and let me tell you that was awe inspiring, There is a sat V as well as a number of other smaller rockers, and a fullsize mockup of the shuttle that you can walk under (if you do make sure you look up, there must be a hundred grand in coins that have been thrown at the fuel tank!)

    right and that is fine and dandy, I like the idea of alt fuels too...

    however... when gas prices are rising, costs to the folks who cant afford things are going up ,now is NOT the time to play social games, if you know so much about clean fuels, why dont you invest YOUR money (NOT my money through taxes) into getting your ideas going. If you can price it below the cost of oil, or at a rate that when your costs to manufacture get low enough, that it meets when oil gets high enough and everyone wins

    The reason i say that is they may be able to use this in their espionage attempts. Meaning if he was given the info without asking for it, its one thing, but if he asked for it, than he can be tried under the espionage act (assange)

    Now that they are giving him money for legal defense, a good lawyer can say that it shows that they were in fact working together. IANAL btw
