    Apple beats the same drum. OSX 10.9 can be had from the Store, not Software Updates.

    Corporate customers download the ISO. Retail customers get the shaft. Super hard shaft if you live in the sticks. No idea if Apple does the same.

    In Ontario we pay more in the short-term because of the de-coupling, but in the long term it will do as you say.

    • an open wholesale electricity market
    • retail choice at the consumer level offered by retailers such as Canada Energy Wholesalers Ltd.

    When asking for such a request you should also provide your own quote for non-subsidized fossil fuel without subsidies. My source for Ontario says residential pricing would increase 35%:

    It would be an interesting case study for a company to explicitly state the content of your list. Users left Instagram when their TOS changed. Would users leave other services if they explicitly stated that they block content from group A because group B paid them to?

    If you show you had no reasonable way of knowing you were speeding, you cannot be charged.

    When you get clocked doing 20 over and you tell the cop that your speedometer is broken let me know if their words aren't "Tell it to a judge."

    If you had read TFA, you would have noticed that the robot car operates more safely than humans in the highway infrastructure that is in place today.

    None of the three links describe the driving scenario's in which the car operates more safely than humans. Did the article you read mention anything about city driving? That's what i'm interested in.

    Where I live there is construction season and winter. Call me when it can deal with those.
    I would sincerely like to know how it deals with the this construction situation. Will the car reroute or stop in the middle of the intersection thinking there is a car in front of it.

    4) enforce #1, #2 and #3 as aggressivley with cyclists as with automobiles, with the same penalties

    I agree. The reality is that there is not enough money and therefore enforcement is rare. Living in the city, I may see a cop once a week and the chance that they are watching for traffic violations is slim.

    I don't think they asked the right question or got the correct response. The fact that the United States isn't monitoring her does not mean that the private company Booz Allen Hamilton isn't.

    the drones telemetry data, so they would know the exact time and location it went down. at the very least would make it easier to search for witnesses.

    This would be at the companies expense because the police aren't interested. Good luck getting witnesses to talk to a company man let alone the police.

    i expect it would also attempt to phone home when it detects something wrong

    It can also be used as surveillance by those groups of the police. That neighborhood gang can now see the police coming from miles away.

    To use the app, people first have to sign up. The app will then work with users to verify pictures of them to get a better reading of their face.

    Pure stalker creepy. Setup a profile on behalf of another and have somebody else do the tracking work for you.

    Well if you are talking UK then which town would you like to know about? I visited Portadown in '97. The next year the center of the town was blown up.
