I'm not sure how the plugin works, but if the binary isn't setuid, changing its owner will be useless, since it will run with the privileges of the browser (i.e. probably yours), not those of the owner.
I saw a couple in a store here in france, next to the "normal" ones at the same price.I wondered if someone would actually buy it, if not by mistake.
Or make it optional like "this" in C++, you could fully qualify the name (self.content) or just make it implicit (content).
