I love the man for Star Wars, but he's the director equivalent of Christopher Lambert - The quality of his end product can be directly negatively correlated with how involved he was in its production, e.g. the 2nd (5th) and 6th (3rd)installments of the Star Wars saga were handed over to professional screen writers and were far superior to anything else he's made.
