    i was dragged to the mall by my wife the other day to do some birthday present shopping and we stopped in to hot topic. They actually had a shelf with boxes of different flavored (dead and dried) crickets for sale! i might go back and get myself a box if i can stomach going through the mall again.

    I worked at a prison for a year. The prison had better equipment and technology than my high school! I think the worst part was, half of my high school teachers were sports coaches first, teachers second.

    I think some ROKU's remotes operate over RF , not IR. Most universal remotes dont do RF

    I decided to install windows 8 pro on one of my computers to try it out since i wasn't using it much anyways (and i practically get windows 8 free from work). It actually has a slide to unlock as the default. Instead of CTRL-ALT-DEL, i have to click on the bottom of the screen, and slide up.
    this might be a good thing if they get someone like microsoft into the battle

    I think Google may have the goal of creating a Superintelligence which utilizes the internet as a knowledge base
