I was definitely lucky.. the cop said that kind of thing almost never happens. That's ridiculous that they could bust you based on a picture.. how can they know it's not just a hand rolled cigarette? Thankfully, it's finally been decriminalized here
Once someone came into the parking lot where I work, smashed my window and took my gps unit. I didn't have insurance either. I was pretty impressed with the response from the police though. They even sent a detective to collect a blood sample where the guy cut himself when he broke the window. While we were at my car, they got a call from the police in the next town, about 5 miles away, and they had caught some guys going through another car in a Walmart parking lot and they had a bag full of GPS units. I identified my unit at the police station, then they had to hold it for evidence.. for 3 and a half @#$&% YEARS!! Court systems sucks.. the cops were pretty cool though
I was just thinking about trying something like this.. In the video he says hard plastic is more comfortable (hard to imagine, but I'm assuming it's true) You could try that Sculpey polymer clay that hardens when you bake it in the oven. They sell it in most arts and crafts type stores. It's harder to work with, but it won't set while you're working, and it can be drilled and sanded after it's cured. You'd also have to figure a way to hold the earbuds in, because you obviously don't want to bake them at 300F. I guess you could carve out a hole and make a silicone insert
I live in New England and we do have them. They're either recessed into the road, or have a metal case designed to withstand snowplows. Although, they do come up every once in a while. A few years ago, a woman in Ohio was hit in the face with a 4.5 lb reflector one after a plow dislodged it
So, these crack and meth addicts carefully plot out burglaries using Google maps?
Careful Burglary Plotting For Crack and Meth Addicts 101:
Step 1. Use an internet connected computer to bring up the map of gun owners. (If you don't own a computer,go to the library)
Step 2. Find a gun owner nearby and write down the address.
I meant that the summary replaces the unicode "K" from the article with "Kap". Why didn't they just use a capital K?
And I agree. Not supporting unicode is ridiculous. If they're worried about people spamming unicode art in the comments, I don't think it would be that difficult to extend the lameness filter. Even allowing a limited number of unicode characters per post would be better than nothing.
Do you really want all your FB friends to see "Foo2rama liked THE ANAL INTRUDER from www.xxxtoys.com!" when you accidentally click "Like this on Facebook" instead of "Add to Cart"?
Yeah, if you like questions like: What is that thing? Why do you have to reboot my computer? What the heck did you just do? That's not Windows! Did you break my computer?
Of course the next time they get a drive-by download while looking for porn (on their already virus-laden computer), it'll be: "My internet has been broken ever since that computer hacker guy screwed around with my computer."
Would you really want to work for someone so stupid they don't realize two people can have the same name? You could also tell them ahead of time it's not you in the mugshot. What would you have to lose? It might even help them remember you.
An ale is still not always a stout. If a stout is basically an ale made with roasted malt, the question could be it's something to do with the malt and not the yeast.
Bud is disgustingly weak as far as flavor, but higher alcohol content than I thought. (5%abv) I always thought it was around 3 or 4. I'll stick with my 8 - 12% IPA's

I was thinking the same thing. Shouldn't pictures and the serial # should be enough? Maybe it has to do with the police having to cover their asses

Can't they just match the spin of the asteroid before they bag it?
Myxinilon© Fiber
I can't believe you don't just use GoToBathroom. Get with the times, man!

Even "K And b" seems better to me.. which is what is actually printed in the article. (Not Kap And B)
It was the word "edge" actually. I was thinking of the game Razor's Edge which I think had issues with Edge Games
Of course, I didn't RTFS until after I posted. Nevermind.
If the app store has some kind of tagging system, I would expect the developer could add the word 'memory' as a tag too
Didn't someone do the same thing with the word "razor" a few years ago?
Barq's root beer has caffeine (although, less than half the amount in MD)
"Wired mentions that it is illegal to manufacture sawed-off shotguns"
That's why you manufacture them with a short barrel to begin with so you don't have to saw anything off. *taps temple*
But didn't they buy plexiglass for the tank? Why not just use aluminum?

After 34 years, you'd think he would have figured out a way to make the thing a bit more inconspicuous

A while back, I reverted an edit to the Black & Decker article. Apparently, someone was offended by the name of the company.

Boddington's pub ale uses nitrogen, and it exhibits the same behaviour as Guinness.. it's interesting to see the effect in a clear fluid
