I agree he is a genius, and I appreciate the fact that Wil Wright articles have replaced PS3 delay articles, but perhaps, maybe/. could avoid putting up everything he says?

I love comments like this. You are essentially saying "I hate how companies try to stop people from illegally distributing their copyrighted words, but it doesn't matter because I just download it anyway"
Perhaps I was unclear. I was making fun of the 457 stories posted each week in the games section that had no information but talked about a rumored PS3 delay.
What does this have to do with the Playstation 3 delay? And if the answer is nothing, then why is it on/. games. There is no real information, just an announcement that an MMORPG is in development and nothing is known about it.
Every time this discussion comes up someone has to insult Madden. But the truth is Madden sells. People want a new Madden every year. They know Madden is fun, and they can see the upgrades from the previous year.
What people don't want is generic RPG number 476, with the exact same story as every other RPG, exact same battle system and exact same graphics.
People are more than willing to buy sequels of good games. They just don't like rip offs (see Grand Theft Auto v. True Crime, Final Fantasy v. Shadowhearts, etc.)
Maybe they could go back to making good games.
Seriously, I haven't bought a PS2 game in ages. Not because I want to save an extra ten bucks, but because the games all suck.
