I have noticed that some US doctors may be violating Haiti's law that forbids the creation of zombies. This could place the US among the top violators of this law.
Disclaimer: I have nothing against permissive licenses (even though the MIT one is extremely permissive). I have licensed some of my stuff with zlib/libng. Anyways, I don't like the implicit anti GPL attack and I don't really like that pro-corporation stuff. For an OS I would prefer my rights to be protected so no big company suddenly decides to EEE my favorite OS into oblivion.
MIT license because the developers want to encourage corporate involvement and believe that permissive licensing creates a healthier relationship with commercial industry.
It is not Linus' fault that people think Operating System = GUI = window manager = kernel. This said, it is probably not CNET's fault that they think so as well, even though you would expect some better technical knowledge from them...
The unfortunate part is that MS will play the google card to let this happen, as if they were fighting against the giant rather than becoming a giant. The bad news is that the purchase is most likely to be about increasing monopoly in the desktop market (Imagine if all yahoo games went silverlight...) than about fighting google (which is a failed battle).
This would get horrible if they begin replacing Java with silverlight for their games. Also imagine hotmail - yahoo mail merger and a lot of terrible things that would happen to us yahoo users, it would be very sad that the authorities approve this.
I see Microsoft buying yahoo now as a big blunder, all the success they could get would be an strong second place. And if they don't accomplish that, it will just make google's power grow even more, since "if that didn't work, nothing would" .
No, it isn't , and I don't really understand how some sort of statement got such high moderation points. It isn't illegal to download movies and songs. It might be a civil crime to download copyrighted songs and movies, and though even that varies country to country, it is still a civil, non-penal issue.
Why don't you write a song or book or create a painting, and I'll copy it. Lets see how quick you change your tune.
I know guys who write songs and paintings on creative commons terms and I've seen thousands of GNU documentation - licensed books.
I guess I'll wait for a new protocol to come and patent "Fighting virus on XX protocol" That should do it. Man, this patent is so retarded, Trend Micro should be ashamed for ever filing it...
I think the worst case was that UFO set of (1996?) the ships had these huge spheric parts that would only allow you to make flying saucers, after that it began to improve again. I think though that there are still sets advertised for younger kids that just come with a lot of blocks and wheels, if you really want to force creativity and not just plain sci-fi fun I would recommend those.
Sorry but the music industry has for long wanted to make this into an "us vs. them" deal, they didn't want to care about consumers and now it just wouldn't make sense to expect us to care about them regardless of any "jobs are getting eliminated" extortion . They did not need any artificial copy protection back in the tape era, I am still unable to understand why they need it now, afaik copying a tape was a process faster than downloading a DVD, but hey, that's just me...

My hunch tells me this 'expert' is not an internet expert, if he an expert pedophile then?
Where's the yesnomaybe tag?

Please add the "troll" mod to this spammer troll and remove the mod points from the moron who gave him insightful, thanks.
Lol, can't believe a guy with mod points is fan with conservapedia stuff.
...Oh, sorry. Didn't notice the Christians did that first
Yes, he says proprietary is never good and, you know what? He is right.

Should consider to stop looking for "crack porn warez" on search engines.

I would for sure not use the webkit version though.
But, it doesn't.

1. Criticize Mr. Niro with an anonymous blog
3 ????
4. Profit!
Turn Vista into XP for free!, that sounds practical provided you didn't pay directly or indirectly for vista that is.

Multi tasking means no focus, news at seven.
Yes, after all 10 USD per capita ought to be enough for anybody.
