I apologize for being nitpicky but...
I mean, hell, it's all we can do to build a robot that walks upright, and mother nature did it without any thiking at all. How stupid are we.
I am a little perturbed by the goddess motif, but what really bothered me about your statement was the neglect of the magnitude of time needed to evolve to stand upright. Compare that to the time it took for humans to make a robot that walks upright and I think the robot building feat is impressive.
Did you see an earlier story from yesterday evening, it is here and it is about how the Canadian RIAA has contradicted it's previous public statements?
Did you also see the article about how DRM costs 25% of a mobile systems battery power?
Here is an example of how the US government is investigating price fixing.
Do all the above examples validate piracy? No, I don't think so. Do they validate DRM? hell no! I will never buy media strangled with DRM. Ever.
H. Pylori has been linked to stomach cancer as well. I think I remember reading that the cause may have been damage to the lining of the stomach. It makes sense to me that large quantities of capsaicin could repeatedly damage the lining of the stomach in turn possibly leading to stomach cancer. Hopefully the amount used in the doses to treat prostate cancer would be lower than the doses that may cause stomach cancer.
As an American, I read about these nifty phone network upgrades and know that I will not see them for at least 3 years. Why is this? Is it the geographical size of the market? The size of the customer bases that subscribe to the networks? Regulatory restrictions? User demand/knowledge/acceptance of these features?
I am inviting anyone in the know to please beat me with the clue stick!
The parent comment said that there are very cleary some races that are superior to others. I was trying to argue that the "superiority" the parent claims that certain races enjoy is probably due to his focus on only certain characteristics that are fitness advantages in only certain locations/situations.
If what you say is true, what do you suggest we do about it? Should we set up a society with different levels of genetic fitness?
But then isn't genetic fitness relative to location and environment pressures? And hasn't isolated locations led to the genetic differences you are talking about?
And what metric do you propose to use to measure superiority? Are you sure it is correct, because the ramifications are immense you know...

Ah ha. The cluestick hurts, but it builds character!
What about 3G though? I remember reading about how it was in Japan in 2002(I think...) but that it would take a couple years to be offered here.
I am not intending to make an America-centric complaint, it is only curiosity.
