I agree with the parent's sentiment that society and policies should favor those who reproduce (as does evolution). I agree with you that childless individuals are obviously productive towards society, especially if they help humankind flourish and continue in other ways.
Given the other parent's "F*&* You" response, I wonder what kind of respectful upbringing he or she had?
You must be one of those perfect parents who can supervise their child 100% of the time. Or that you never resort to sitting your child down in front of a television for an hour or so while you cook dinner or respond to an after-hours urgent work e-mail.
And the mercury is not in the home. My 18-month old inhaled a nice bit of mercury vapor when a CFL broke right in front of him. Mercury vapor is very very dangerous compared to solid mercury. Go read the EPA's cleanup procedure for a broken CFL. I'm never buying one again.
A broken CFL releases mercury vapor, which is very dangerous compared to solid mercury. A CFL broke right in front of my 18-month old toddler. I read the EPA cleanup instructions and will never buy one again.
Bullshit. A CFL broke in front of my 18-month old toddler. He inhaled mercury vapor, which is FAR MORE DANGEROUS than solid mercury. The EPA recommends I destroy clothing that came in contact with the broken CFL.
You people are all dipshits for dismissing the dangers of broken CFLs around kids.
Me too. A CFL broke in front of my 18-month old, and after reading cleanup procedures on the EPA and about the mercury vapor he inhaled (far more dangerous than solid mercury), I will never buy a fucking CFL again.
Go read the EPA's cleanup instructions for a broken CFL. A CFL broke right in front of my 18-month old, and he likely inhaled a good dose of the vapor, which is far far more dangerous than solid mercury. The EPA recommends I destroy all clothing that came in contact with a broken CFL.
I had CFLs throughout my home. My wife then broke one right in front of our 18-month old toddler. I immediately went to the EPA website and found instructions telling me to seal off the room, shut down my HVAC system, throw away clothing that came in contact with the dust, etc.
It is very likely my toddler inhaled some mercury vapor, which is far more dangerous than solid mercury. Nope, I won't use them again.
And those 5 states have combined SAT/ACT averages of 44 (Virginia), 47 (Texas), 48 (Georgia), 49 (North Carolina), and 50 (South Carolina). Wisconsin is ranked #2.
On bullshit. Tell me how you can possibly whitelist the Internet with manual intervention. You would have an unusable slow mess. What will your border gateway router do? Intercept every DNS lookup by deep packet inspection and whitelist it? What if I use 8.8.8.8 as my DNS server?
Not to mention the site was accessible in the days prior.
How many IE users realize that their Google searches/results are being sent to Microsoft for analysis? Not that Google doesn't analyze their own searches/results...but....WTF?
As someone who was recently doing large-format photography with vintage Graflex photographic equipment, I was wondering why the eBay prices for vintage Graflex flash accessories seemed so high! Arghh....Star Wars Nerds!!

What a mature response. I completely agree with the parent poster. You must be one of those Voluntary Extinction people.

Then look at high school graduates rates. Texas, Georgia, North Caroline, and South Carolina occupy 4 of the bottom 7 spots.
That is rank out of the 50 states. South Carolina is the worst in the 50 States of America.
Hey, don't let this screenshot affect your distorted viewpoint either:

So you are telling me that the Capitol WiFi border routers use DNS whitelisting. Ya, why don't you think about that for a little bit.
Trying to whitelist the Internet via manual intervention is not really feasible. So I call bullshit.

How does Google's business rely on spying? By delivering advertisements based on what you search for?
How would I know. Windows Phone 7 is a day late and a dollar short. Is it even out yet? Does it have a hardware ctrl-alt-delete button?
Nobody said Microsoft was dying. But as a consumer brand that people want, yes, I see signs it is dying.
Yawn. I'm sure the iOS uses some internal components. Maybe the Mach-based microkernel. Who knows.
Android is based on Linux. Does it act and feel like Linux?
Microsoft is leveraging too much from desktop OSs for their tablet products (like HP Slate). The HP Slate even has a hardware ctrl-alt-delete button!!
And yet the State of California has the largest economy in the United States, and what, the 8th largest economy in the world compared to countries?
Um, Google measured it using some pretty fancy tools.

All I can say is Wow...job well done Apple. The iPhone was definitely the most ubiquitous smartphone I spotted throughout France.
