I think they are forgetting about the number of people that use their wireless devices during meetings and classes. You can't just blurt out voice commands without interrupting the current speaker. Imagine a college class room full of students all simultaneously shouting voice commands into their wireless devices while the professor tries to continue lecturing on the advancement in business communication. Keyed commands are also going to be needed, unless of course they start implanting chips in our brains so we can sync with our wireless devices.
How does this affect legally paid for streaming movies, such as the ones provided by netflix and legitimate online video services? How is AT&T going to be able to tell the difference between an authorized stream and an illegal one?
Let us not for get in this age of globalization it will be hard for the government to pass laws that have any significant bearing. If people can't obtain something in the US then hello World Market! The only way to solve the problems in Washington DC is to elect people instead of politicians to office.
We can all "talk" about how terrible this is but that is wasted energy. Instead why not put that energy in doing something about it. Our government is a government of the people, for the people, by the people. If we do not like what they are doing we need to call them on it. We have become such a passive society that we seem to no longer have the spirit to stand up for what we feel is right. Instead we just complain about it to others who likely feel the same way. The big corperations who have grasped hold of our government thru there lobbying and political donations have us by the... well you know what I mean. It is time to take a stand.
