Who would you rather have controlling and deciding what's allowed on the internet? A group of regulators accountable to the people, or a local monopoly who is only accountable to their shareholders? Remember, the vast, vast majority of Americans do NOT have any choice when it comes to their landline ISP.
There should be a law. If you're to fucking stupid to realize what The Onion is, or that something came from The Onion, you don't get to comment about politics. Ever.
Like I said, it doesn't have to have all the bells and whistles of a new Halo or Gears of War game. But it would help if the shield packs actually looked like fucking shield packs, and that your character actually looked different than everything else on the screen.
Ummm, no. You chose to use the software in a commercial application, without wanting to comply with the license. If you have no intentions of complying with the license, then you shouldn't use the software. Do I have the option to ignore the license (especially the non-distribution and non-reverse engineering clauses) of a closed source application just because I want to use them?
While I get your point, we are far beyond the C64 level of graphical capabilities today, even for simple games. Would it be too much to ask that a chess piece actually looked like a chess piece in a chess game?
That still doesn't explain why our urban areas don't have some of the highest speeds in the world. Many of our urban areas are on par with the most densely populated cities in the world, and yet, the broadband available in them is quite low compared to other world class cities.
I believe the Nexus One can be bought all over the world, just not in a store. You have to buy it from Google. As far as future OS revisions, I think they've already sent one or two OTA updates to the phones, so I would expect this to keep going for a while, at least for a couple of years.
Look on the CyannogenMod forums at the supported handsets. Get one of those. The only downside is that by flashing Cyannogen, you are giving up any manufacturer eye candy, like HTC Sense. However, some enterprising hackers have even brought this back.
If this were true, they would have done this by now. They've been promoting tablets for almost 10 years now, and haven't really made any strides to adjust the interface from something designed to be used with a keyboard and mouse.
Not necessarily. When we give them the money, we can say, "You must meet these requirements in such and such time frame, otherwise you will repay the money and have these penalties."

I've got Unlimited Text, "Unlimited Data" (same 5gb soft cap bs everyone else has), and 450 minutes a month for about $60.

So if they're both under copyright, they should both be required to be made public after the copyright expires.
But usually what's under copyright is the source itself, not the binaries.

To be fair, if I was in their position, I would hate the customer too. In fact, that's why I went into business. Because I hate people.
Fuck you. They pointed out that there is exactly that at T-Mobile, and then you turn around and bitch some more? What more do you want?

I actually wish to listen to that song. Someone should get on it.
iTunes doesn't have DRM either. And they act like it is because its the biggest, and most well known.
Wasn't the 5.x series made for the Storm devices, and not the regular Blackberries?
Flash 10.1 will be not sucking on anything that isn't a 2+GHz wintel any day now;
I will believe this when I see it.
Even if the iPad had Flash, Hulu would have blocked it. They do it with every other mobile device which supports Flash.
But one could definitely argue that selling the data in the first place represents a breach of privacy, and goes against the privacy policy.

Too bad. That product would have been killer.
Unless you have an actual citation for something like that, just quit with the fear mongering.
By "old things", you mean stuff she said just a month or so ago? The quotes and website are from her primary campaign.
And I even got free traffic shaping too!
