Human nature doesn't change.. People have been killing each other since the beginning of time.. why are they going to stop? Even if there was some way to automagically delete every weapon in existence.. people will find a way to kill each other. They'll come back with bigger boards with bigger nails in them.

Okay, so they want to put advertisements in mp3's. I don't know about you guys, but I would just fire up gnutella/napster/whatever and download some "old-skool" mp3s.. or make my own. I would suspect that the majority of mp3's on the net are homebrew (read "illegal") and will remain that way for a loooong time.
As long as music is still being released on CD's, there will always be people who will rip 'em, encode 'em, and make them available over whatever file sharing program isn't being sued at the time.

It funny when you print out "Feed me toner!" on someones laser printer.. and they walk out in the hall and yell "What's toner?"
Exactly.. I live in an engineering dorm even and I am amazed that like only 3 people (two of which use Linux) even know what ftp is.
Now I have something to aim towards my Microsoft Certified Professional action figures....
