I'm not gonna do it since I have legal XP already, and I don't want Vista. But Brian Livingston (of windowssecrets.com) argues that Microsoft put this loophole in intentionally, so it's ethical to do. I have my doubts, but. . .
You're probably thinking of Seurat, a pointillist, who built up his painted images from lots of little dots he made with his brush. Of course, he wasn't scanning across the canvas with three or four colored brushes dotting as he went but using some less deterministic approach.
It's already a public square - it's a free market - unfortunately for the libs, radio listeners don't want to hear them - ever heard of Air America? So the government solution is required: force radio businesses to give air time to liberals for free, since they can't make any money at it!
Funny, I always set the climate control in my (American made) car to things like 68F or 77F because I like round numbers -in Celsius- like 20C and 25C, more than I like 70F or 75F even if 75F is more conmfortable than 77F. Crazy.
They'll change the name, and everybody will still call it the iPhone and know it refers to Apple's phone whenever you hear iPhone, not Cisco. Mission accomplished.
No, the GP was a reply to a (+5, Insightful) post about how the iPhone is not an iPod, which included some discussion about why the iPod is so popular, and GP called into question whether or not the iPod deserves the popularity it has. It's relevant from the standpoint that the GGP wonders whether Apple can repeat it's performance with the iPhone, and the GP sees it ( I think) as a purely marketing vs. actual quality issue. I think he's wrong, but not Offtopic. As has been pointed before and in some sigs, there is no (-1, Wrong) option!
Another advantage of actual attendance at a university over self-study is the motivating factor of competition. C'mon, admit it. Being compared favorably to others is a strong motivator for humans, even when it's a delusion;-)
Engine coolant has three main ingredients, not two: you forgot corrosion inhibitors. They passivate the metals in the cooling system and prevent the galvanic corrosion you mention without naming.
And it's ethylene glycol (or propylene glycol), not POLYethylene glycol as the other ingredient besides water.
The radiator cap allows the pressure the in the cooling system to increase so far before it relieves pressure. It is the increased pressure which raises the boiling point. BTW, it's closer to 2C/psi for water.
Neither. If you have to have a single source inspiration, it would have to be Richard Feynman, 1959.
http://www.zyvex.com/nanotech/feynman.html was the first search hit on Google.

Why? Just because it would weigh about .44 milligrams? (at today's price).
A gold "coin" 1 mm in diameter and 29 microns thick weighs about that.
It would be kind of hard to keep track of and pay someone with those, wouldn't it?
That's not a plausible mechanism - increased risk of cancer is a probabilistic thing while Einstein said "God does not play dice" therefore. . .
It's not particularly scientific to *want* a certain result, *either* way.
C'mon now, that's funny!
"Baby, that tattoo you got is really hot! No, I mean it's hot to the touch" "Hey man, why are you pointing that radar gun at my girlfriend?"

You must be new around here. . .
So he didnt get very far in his presidential bid because he was too moderate for the Democrats?
Your sig is probably less ironic than you'd have us believe.

That's funny. I consider moderating a form of exercise, too!
Oh, you meant physical exercise, didn't you.

But you had no trouble refraining from using any HTML tags that might make your post more readable!

LOL! Probably not true (most disrputive technology in a century), but still a very funny comment. And no one's modding it Offtopic. Fair enough.

"Offtopic" is not a codeword for "disagree", or "wrong", mods.
Apparently, "relevant" means something other than that what you think it means.
BTW, I think the Simpson's quite funny, generally.
Silver plating has its own problems. Corrosion and migration being the top ones.
Doing gel electrophoresis for three years also does not improve one's reproductive chances, I'd guess.
I was going to mod this flamebait AND insightful but I only have one mod point left. Alas.
