    I've used Google Maps on my phone to find the cleaning supplies in Home Depot.
    They actually have the aisles labeled on the map and I found the brooms.
    When you can't find someone with an orange apron, it's a great help!

    Maybe the Kessel Run was like a Traveling Salesman problem, so doing it in a short distance meant you were smart/efficient/had a good algorithm! Nothing to do with the ship of course, in that case, though.

    Because the excretion of sodium is a result of taking a diuretic, the main benefits of which are the excretion of water (def'n of diuretic) and the relaxing of blood vessel walls, both of which lower blood pressure. Most diuretics also cause excretion of potassium, but no one ever says "you need to cut down on the potassium - it's bad for your hypertension".

    "agnostic" means "isn't sure" or "isn't aware". "apathetic" would be the term to use in this case\-- knowing but not caring.

    It's not PC. It's traditional. Sailors always referred to their ships as 'she', and that carried over to aircraft and spaceships as well. If anything it's un-PC, since nowadays sailors, pilots and astronauts can be women, unlike days of yore.

    I realize he's a comedian, but he proves the opposite of his initial assertion. They don't say pot-smoking makes you incompetent. If they did, his argument would make sense.
