That's a shame too, because nobody gets rich from working 40/50/60 hour work weeks. It's just enough to pay taxes, take those 10 vacation days, eat fast food, and die.
This is true if you read it as "the missing link", but it very well could be "a missing link" -- one of the many links, as of yet, not found and are, therefore, "missing" in the "chain of evolution".
Oh no, I didn't pay $5. The was the initial pre-haggle 'fahrang' price was 200 baht (slightly more than $5), but I wasn't even interested. I got all the software I need, and besides that would be against the law;)
I leave for Pattay on Friday, in fact. Now I'm interested, and I'd bet saying something like "lot noi dai mai" would instantly drop the price to 100 baht. I could use an extra copy of Windows ME anyway;p
I can't speak for China, as I've never been there, but in Thailand, you can go to the mall and find stores (actual stores, not booths) that have nothing but spindles upon spindles of CD-Rs with 'pirated' software. The disks go for the equivilant of $5 US and probably cheaper if you're Thai. It's quite an interesting thing to see.
He should look at the ipod -- is that the only mp3 player out there or anywhere close to the cheapest? People want Apple's because of the trend and the way the hardware looks.

->Tools
->Options
->Content
->Advanced (next to the "Enable JavaScript" checkbox)
->Uncheck "Move or resize existing windows"
In older versions, you have to open the configuration file and disable from there.
When I worked as a carpenter, our stucco guys used a plastic mesh which is probably cheaper than chicken wire.

This is true. It also makes a noticable difference when connecting via VNC.
FTA: A shopkeeper interviewed by the Associated Press news agency said he was not interested in the worth of the information on the memory drives.
I guess those copies of Mambo_No_5.mp3 arent so popular at the bazaar?
