Actually, Linux will run on 8086 and 80286 CPU's. Check out the ELKS project.

I'd suggest checking out Appgen's MyBooks,

    http://www.appgen.com/products/mybooks.html

It works on Windows, Linux, and Mac, will import your Quickbooks data, and you can try it free for 30 days. I've downloaded it, but haven't played with it much. Maybe other Slashdoters can attest to its usefulness.

A fool and their money are soon parted, as the old saying goes. Why would one patronize a company that rips you off by charing for four pulls, when really they only did one pull with four cables? A little shopping around can save you a ton of money on wiring jobs.

Exactly. Any bill passed by Congress has to pass the muster of the US Constitution. This is why we have a Supreme Court. The other fact people need to realize is that this bill gives law enforcement better ability to go after *terrorists*...not just anybody they feel like... and just like before they must show probable cause in a court of law before they can go after you. So, unless you are a terrorst, you have little to fear.

If TEX by Donald Knuth doesn't bring tears to eyes nothing will. ;-) But seriously, there probably isn't a better example of programming at it's finest, particularly if you are interested in Literate Programming

For the most part, they don't mind, but here you can read their "Picture Use Policy":

They do "request" that you at least give them credit for the picture.
