    I keep telling my wife that this is why I want to install a really loud air horn in my car, think semi truck loud, but she says no.

    Years ago, I had a '77 Civic wagon in which the previous owner had installed a truck horn with a big yellow button on the dash. Since he also had disconnected the regular horn, I'd have to use that when the driver in front of me wasn't paying attention at a stop light. I'd get some pretty interesting reactions.

    I don't know why he would have installed such a loud horn on the car, but it was probably because the original equipment was barely a little squeak.

    Parapsychologists fall into 2 categories: suckers and people out to fleece suckers

    Don't fall into trap many pseudoskeptics fall into of simply parrotting anything your favorite aging TV magicians post on facebook. There's been a big change in the field of parapsychology ever since a psi effect was proven to exist. The research being done now is ridiculously rigorous, thanks to the positive effects of decades of ridicule. I don't really have an interest either way, but I was surprised to learn this recently.

    4) Private industry tries to censor any study that has results that embarrass private industry

    Face it Twitter is the kindergarten play ground of public forums. They basically want to control it by gagging the children and chaining them to a stake in the ground so they can't pester each other.

    If you've ever had a kindergarten age kid, you will recognize the appeal of this idea.
