I wouldn't be surprised if mesa outperformed their drivers.
You think you're joking. . .
I use hardware rendering because it takes the weight off of the CPU for the most part, and because it seems to generally work better (software rendering seems to often give strange artifacts). In my experience, it's not actually faster than software rendering.
Penalty != challenge. Taking away the penalty for death does not mean you do not have to face the challenge. Unlike an invincibility cheat, the challenge is still there in full force. The actual effect of removing the penalty is that you spend more time facing challenges.
If you mean the super thin ones, then I agree, except that I'd still say my Thinkpad's (X41 tablet) keyboard is a bit better. My only gripe with the Apple ones is that sometimes the keys don't feel like they go down straight, they seem to tilt slightly when you press them. I suppose it's something you get used to, but it feels a bit strange at first.
Hmm, yeah, I get that too, but when I look in Page Info under Security, it tells me that they did not provide identification information. I guess that's a glitch, though, and it's just saying that because the site didn't provide verifiable identity info.
Firefox is telling me that the site is not providing identity information (check Page Info), so they are probably just not serving the certificate anymore.
For instance, to simply output a line to a command line in Java you're looking at
System.out.println("output");
whereas with c++ (for instance) you have
cout << "output" << endl;
As someone who's teaching this stuff, the second is easier to explain in detail and doesn't rely on saying "don't worry what System.out is".
I'm no fan of Java either (and I think that none of C, C++, or Java make a good starting language), but that example is unfair. The C++ code would look either look like std::cout << "output" << std::endl; or feature a using directive, both of which require about as much hand-waving as "System.out".
Stupidly enough, you have to do the format shifting yourself for it to count. Downloading a pirated e-book from the internet does not count as format shifting even if you own a physical copy, same as downloading a DS rom is still illegal even if you own the original game.
Instead, he said, new tools, ubiquitous broadband and hungry independent developers are going to all combine to eat away at the continued supremacy of the $60 big-name title.
Cool, I hope to be one of those hungry indie developers. =)
Looking past the fact that two items are clearly not identical if one of them is defective. . .
When you "return" something that means that you are "returning" it. Meaning that you are giving back what you got. If you "return" something else, you are misrepresenting it, and obviously it is fraud.
I can guarantee that that is not at all typical. The Xbox 360 should be well into the game's splash before 5 seconds are up. No way in hell any release of OS X on any hardware boots that fast.
Come on, that's BS. The Xbox 360 splash screen alone takes almost that long to play.
You guys aren't thinking far enough. A time machine is clearly in order!
Especially today.

has "Insert" key (VIM friendly)
What's wrong with 'i'?

In fact I don't give a shit about ads and clickable areas in videos, I just want to watch videos.
Well, that settles it!
Whoever modded that "troll" should read this.

Yes! rRootage is actually one of my favourite games.
Could it be that developing cross-platform applications is something for which Google doesn't have any aptitude?
If they'd written it as a web app, like most of their other services, this wouldn't be a problem!

Actually he did that. You can't say that "You can't do that", because he did that.
Actually, he said that. You can't say that "You can't say that", because he said that.
That's not socialism, it's just greed.

When they refused I merely crossed it out before signing.
Does. . . Does that work?

Apparently this is no problem if you buy it direct from the official web site (as opposed to through steam or such).
I my experience this works in the console versions as well, when you have mouse support enabled though the terminal and vim.

Those of us who browse with wget/less are safe too!
Well, yeah. . . but, really, who uses Slashdot?
