    It could be mostly automatic. The search would be simple:

    http://gdata.youtube.com/feeds/api/videos?vq=scientology&start-index=1&max-results=50

    Just repeat for different start-index values and slightly different searches, and you can easily rack up a few thousand unique videos.

    Most people would have their bills lowered, and us-in-the-know would mercilessly jump towards the cheapest gigabyte.

    I'm not sure why everyone else is jumping to this conclusion. The companies could simply increase the price per GB until the average price is the same and continue to profit.

    Sure, but note that nowhere in that post does it say they are connecting to the other XMPP networks, they only mention logging into your facebook chat with another client. Too bad they haven't committed to taking down any part of the walls around their garden.

    No, the people who got it on steam got a game with added/tacked-on features, there's an important difference. The fact that they decided to give more after the fact doesn't mean you got cheated.

    I wonder if there will be tools / services that would be able to hammer at (or otherwise crack) the 1024-bit encryption and find the key. Does anyone know how bad this might be from a computational-power standpoint? You don't even know that it's encrypted; the virus could just replace the file with random data. Unless he's actually planning to give people something for their money (fat chance) you'd be hard pressed to tell the difference.

    I do also have a Vista machine, and in all fairness, it has never been infected with anything worse than Vista itself.

    Because they can't draw the line more leniently while still being able to ban the real stuff, otherwise someone making such materials could simply say it was faked. Maybe they shouldn't be illegal, but as a concession to reality, laws need to be enforceable to be effective.

    Also, it is impossible to close your account at classmates and stop getting e-mail from them, EXCEPT by searching for "cancel" in their help system. That seems pretty shady to me.

    That's debatable, and I'm not saying you're wrong. The GG...GP asked a specific question though, and that was whether you could do it _without_ breaking the law.

    Worms Armageddon really is amazing, especially 2-player, but for certain weapons (which you can turn off) I believe it requires a mouse. C-Dogs is also really fun if you can get it to run properly with sound. (I believe it's a DOS game)
