If we just ignore him, he'll go away. The only reason Thompson is still somewhat relevant to the media is because gamers treat him like he is. DON'T FEED THE BEARS!!
I'm from a medium-to-large sized agricultural city in California. While people within the city limits can get broadband fairly easily, it took several years of prodding to even get a technician/installer out to my parent's house. Their house, in the county, is about 50-60 feet off the street. They finally got a guy to come out, but the service is absolutely horrible.
Someone mentioned doing it by area codes I think. I don't know what it's like elsewhere, but here area codes cover a larger area than zip codes. Then you'd have worse problems trying to get an accurate sampling.
Once again everyone gets all happy about a trailer featuring... *GASP* cutscenes. How about a video featuring actual gameplay for once? Cutscenes tell me absolutely nothing.
BTW, the humor was decidedly childish, which may be the point, but it seems to be a pattern oft repeated in most Rockstar games anyways.
Think about it. We're all talking about it, aren't we? Various internet news sources (and print) have reported on all of the hoopla, thereby exposing people to Nintendo and its console who normally wouldn't care either way. People who are in the community who aren't interested in what Nintendo has to offer are forced to consider it moreso than they normally would want to.
Annoying, immature gamers are no longer as interested in gaming as they used to be? Good riddance. With the absence of a large, young market, hopefully we'll see more quality titles focused on gameplay and not entirely on flashy graphics/new hardware.
Yup. Nowadays, politicians will bend science at their leisure to tell their constituents what they want to hear, or to sound "all-knowing" in some respect. The more political it becomes, the more likely we are to see scientific research subsumed to some political goal.
We can now divide by zer-

So am I the only person on earth who doesn't have AGP or PCI-E? Hello, stone age :(

There's no such thing as bad publicity!
