The ball bearings sound like a good idea, but I've noticed that even loose change works well. You know all of those pennies in your console? They sound much louder at 80mph!
I don't think you have the idea right (or maybe I'm mistaken). From what I understand a BES server runs like an Exchange server, where you purchase the program and then the required licenses to run the units off of that program from your server.
Besides, I couldn't imagine everybody's blackberry e-mails passing through Canada, that'd be the number one contribution to global warming!
A lot of times turning off your machine is not advised in a corporate setting. We push out all of our patches and updates at one in the morning, so we'd rather have the machines on. Now if we could find a better way to enable wake on lan, or some other similar technology, the need for these machines to be on wouldn't be necessary.
Not to mention the lawyers here tend to not only leave their computer on, but logged in with whatever they were working on up on the screen. Then they have the nerve to ask me why their computer is slow:P
I'm waiting until after the Christmas rush as well, I'd like to see if the Wii has any technical issues with the controller, the online service, etc.
Back on-topic though, I just don't see the PS3 being worth its cost. Maybe it's because I'm not a fanboy? I love video games but I just don't have that much cash to shell out on a system, AND then the games. Then again I might change my mind once all of my friends get one and I actually get to play it:)
I'll believe that when I stop seeing "I edited my profile with BACARDI'S Myspace Editor V3.6!" on the end of everybody's about me.
There are several pages where the code is simply copied and pasted, and the html is extremely sloppy. If anything I recommend the basic html and css tutorials over at w3schools to those that want my help with their page, so at least they know what I mean by "opening and closing a tag".
This really redefines "forgetting your password."
Wouldn't this be a nightmare for technical support? How would they help manage/track user's passwords? Another thing I think of is there are many occasions where I have to change a user's password to log into their machine, so would there be a generic IT password? Somewhat of a master key? I could see this causing many more security issues...
I read/searched through all of the comments and didn't see anyone mentioning how this kid managed to get on American Dad. That's pretty famous if you ask me! (and something else he could easily collect money for)

You would've thought with all of the http://www.worth1000.com/cache/contest/contestcach e.asp?contest_id=11570&start=1&end=10&display=phot oshop to keep it a planet, it wouldn't have been demoted.
