    It's not that I can't get used and customize it so I can like and use it.

    It's that I'm not into (and don't have the time to) customizing my desktop *again*. Not only I had Gnome2 already customized, but it required very little customization, as the defaults are mostly ok.

    No, they don't use JPEG for work. They use lossless formats, and only produce a JPEG as a particular output for the web.

    also, when your son yells, or a car horns outside, and you didn't get that line, you can rewind a bit and watch that part again.

    there are a lot of reasons why playing it locally leads to a better vieweing experience.

    once you have a known-good copy of the data AND made a backup of that.

    ALWAYS have at least two separated copies, peferably more.

    Ok, now I have read a bit about Lobster style. I looks fun, too.

    Unfortunately, it uses indentation to define blocks, like Python, which ruins it for me.

    I do think Perl has features that are fun to use. In other words, a feature can be useful _and_ fun.
