  1. Then What Happened? on New Scientific Evidence Emerges In Anthrax Case · · Score: 1

Ok. Let's assume that the FBI is right and that Ivans engineered all of this... to test his vaccine... that he never tested. Sure, that makes a lot of sense. And maybe he just happened to kill himself as they were about to seal the deal, cuz he was so guilty... and not because he'd been hounded to death after helping the government from the beginning. Bush is still president and Polosi says he didn't commit any crimes, so anything is possible... How did the anthrax get from its liquid state into the fine and specially formulated powder that went out in the USPS? Did Ivans do that? All by himself? With what and when? An EasyBake Anthrax Oven while pretending to make a beer run during church bingo?

  2. My Mass Mailings Feel Randy's Pain, Too... on Yahoo Blocks Venerable Email List Over False Positives · · Score: 1

Yahoo is infuriating to work with when wrongly labeled "spam." I'm dealing with a very similar situation to Randy's -- and it's the third time I've had to go through the same largely unresponsive hoops. My problem is that I work within the adult entertainment industry and have my mail hosted by my primary client, whose hosting company handles many other adult clients. If ANY of those entities triggers a spam report, we apparently ALL suffer. As a journalist and event organizer, this can cause unacceptable delays that I often don't know about for days. My favorite part is when Yahoo asks to correspond with my email administrator -- after my email administrator has written to Yahoo and been ignored. Good attention to detail, Yahoo. Maybe once Microsoft owns your ass things will be better, but I'm thinking probably not. It's ironic that I have to go to my Yahoo email and send the messages to other Yahoo users. Why spend the money for a domain if some idiot is just going to label you a spammer without even allowing you the courtesy of a chance to spam anyone? Blah!

  3. Beautiful -- but romantically troubled on Movie Review, Hellboy II · · Score: 1

I hope to blog on this myself, soonish, but I'll say that I'm glad the film picked up as it went along, because I was having major problems with the interactions between Hellboy and Liz early on. Frankly, Liz came off like a bitch without a clue for more of the film than even the plot device involved justified. I also had difficulty adjusting to Abe's new voice. I found a few more things to complain about -- but the film's overall beauty and the fact I'm a freakin' sap at heart left me eager for the Blu-ray.
