    , Ubisoft who used to practically give bonuses to those in the company who could come up with a nastier way to treat customers? Removed their DRM from their current titles and from what i understand is putting out patches that remove it from previous titles

    Did I miss this, or do I hate ubisoft so much that I ignored the news?

    The average user doesn't want to know what applications are available on a new install without typing every conceivable string into the GUI or resorting to using the command line (average users hate command lines)?

    And after being brought back on air due to DVD sales, they've been recycling jokes, and not as in-jokes like the chicken fight either; they're trying to pass off the same old jokes as new ones, just slightly tweaked. Then when they can't think of something funny, they show music videos for five minutes straight (it was funny once; three times is a cry for help) or resort to brutal cartoon violence.

    It actually started on the air a decade ago, and was canceled seven years ago.

    most 20 somethings today wouldn't have been into a show like this

    It was a later-night comedy, and not obscene, so teens in 2003-2006 would have been the perfect demographic; they could watch it after the 'rents went to sleep, laugh, and feel like they're older with all the "adult" themes.

    Time is the dimension upon which we measure change. Without a dt, dv doesn't happen. Without time, how does the universe change from non-existing to existing?

    A 30 yo friend of mine recently watched all of them for the first time. She's a computer geek but never saw them. Unfortunately, she ignored my suggestion and watched them in numerical order instead of release-order. She admitted it was a mistake afterward.

    That's a common American colloquialism meaning "the two aforementioned things are in fact the same unique thing, despite superficial appearances to the contrary"
    In this particular case, GP was saying that kdawson and Timothy might be the same person.

    Does anyone need to see the Anakin movies (Ep 1-3) to understand the Luke movies (Ep 4-6)?

    Quite the reverse really. There are several points of emotional significance in 1-3 which are utterly meaningless if not confusing without having first seen 3-6.

    No no no, it's "the costs to rescue the xx-number of morons in the snow vs the total state and county taxes on the daily economic output of the state". The state doesn't care how much the citizens might benefit. It cares about how much it might gain or lose. Plus the state can save money on snow plow overtime and salt if less people are on the roads.
