In real world, both left and right-leaning dictatorships have made such laws, but for example the Nordic countries - which are quite left-leaning - have quite strong protections of freedom of speech.

At the very least most of Europe is in a haze of political correctness where deviating from accepted groupthink, while not always illegal, is a very bad idea. This atmosphere is enforced by politicians and the media, and by common citizens as well. Sweden in particular is a very fascist country.

I would imagine a 'sensitive guy' would, but not all of us are that way...some of us want to be as in touch with our physical nature as we are our emotional ones.
