I was thinking the same thing. Not so much that it's a rare asset, but, that perhaps this is what my polisci prof. meant by a realignment of the system.
The people are getting more and more fed up with the system and it's beginning to show itself more and more with favorable laws and judicial decisions after minor elections and before major ones.
So what your saying is Noah was a Venusian and was tasked with the mission to bring a sample of all life forms to the next planet in an interplanetary Ark because God (the Sun) was about to destroy all life by making the whole world uninhabitible.
Yeah, something like that. A "flood" doesn't HAVE to be water, the planet could have been flooded with heat and radiation. With our luck we where the B Ark.
Heard this on NPR last night about how it may of had oceans at one time and they may have evaporated due to climate change (caused by solar flairs).
That sparked a debate between me and the other passengers about evolution via traveling to earth from Venus and the thought of doing the same to Mars...
Would it pass for college work? Yeah, but there is a big difference between the college code and business code. What's written for review from a prof. and what's written for your customers to get their application on spec, on time, and under budget.
That's called community driven development. There are only SO many ways to write something and sometimes a bit of community code works better than beating your head into the wall for weeks with a deadline looming.
Though, now it brings up a question of how they got to be a project lead.
I read the link text too fast and thought you linked to whitehouse.com which was far more enjoyable but made less sense in context of war profiteering...
Yeah, I know... Sadly I was picturing a perfect world where Digital Rights Management was something that only a sysadmin was concerned about and it was to actually protect you and your data.
If that happens (DRM Free) What are the chances you can barrow EBooks from a library that delete themselves after X number of days unless you contact the library... That would be another wonderful feature, a true electronic library that doesn't cost you per month.
easy it is to get non-Amazon content on to the device, for free, remain horribly misunderstood
If I'm not tied to a single source for my books then I may consider it, but I still enjoy they actual book feelings though. Weight, smell, etc... Some parts of reading a book have nothing to do with what is written... At least for me.
If you're invited to a debate or a talk show that's pushing an agenda to be an expert on a topic after all of this, more than likely those questions about it won't get brought up or if they are they'll be spun to make it look like the video games are to blame.
But he'll still seen as an authority on the topic of video game violence. Just because he can't bring or be a lawyer for these lawsuits the media companies will still talk to him and use him as a face man.
Call me what you will but I still like the DethAlbum. Some Metalocalypse episodes where bad... Real bad... But the ones that where good where really good and the music is pretty solid.
Besides where else would we get Dr. Rockzo the Rock and Roll clown?
Please don't give us any more pressure. But I'm confident one day we'll put an astronaut on the moon
But he sounds pretty sure they will get there eventually. But how many decades of research do they have to build off of? Still this push back into space and a new "space race" is neat to watch.

Making DDL scripts to run in the database is easy once you learn the syntax. Knowing their interaction with each other using Foreign keys, Indexes, and planning their future growth is a completely different set of skills that's only gained with experience with your data.

This sounds like a good intro book but nothing of use to a seasoned DBA. It reads as though you gain basic knowledge of the subject of SQL and some basic mySQL syntax but the day-to-day operations of a database are probably not covered since those are very version specific and generally done with odd T-SQL statements or GUI interface.
It sounds like a learn SQL in 24 hours book more than a SQL cookbook type resource, may be good for a developer who is starting out in the relational database world but I don't think DBAs will get much. At least, not from what the reviewer says.
Exactly, (IMHO) the mobile game market is mostly quick pick up and put down games like bejewled and the like. Nintendo has pretty much been good with keeping game platforms as game platforms. Yes, overspecialization breeds slow death, but at some point we have to say "ya know I don't want my DS to make phone calls. I want a good game system and a good phone not a half ass of each"
I like the ease of 1 device, like the iphone, but the N-Gage was proof that you can do it completely wrong.
As I've said before, this was anecdotal at a support meeting when the topic of alternative treatment options came up. I personally feel that when you have a major disease you should have pretty much carte blanch when it comes to treatment options and to work with your doctors to find what works best for you, not matter what it is. I'd love for there to be a non-injectable/pill treatment option available for me. But, at this point my doctors feel it best to keep me with traditional treatments (which run about 20k a year).
I have NO problem with using anything for treatment as long as it actually works. But, I've become cynical as to treatment options or what's presented as a treatment just to be told that it's affects are placebo or have worse side effects and more so to people who sell false hope to sick/dieing people be it with a snake oil cure or preliminary finding in a study that "may one day lead to a cure".

That's why every 4 levels you can bump your int score right?
But you can over encourage your children and get them to not apply themselves. I've seen it happen...
If you allow your awareness to lapse and fade, you will become a victim of your own overconfidence. - the book of five rings

But are they their results or those of copy/pasted code.

Any application the customer chooses will be allowed on these devices.
We know Google won't sign any exclusive contracts and we want a piece of their mobile action when the time comes and people bring us the device...

just like Family Guy right? It was all [AS] and had nothing to do with DVD sales?
