    "Women want better pay? Work the same number of years that men work. " - all women want is "equal pay for doing the same job". A lot of things have changed since the 1970s so the "debunk" needs to be done again to see if its still true

    Perhaps you should live the life of a woman for a while and see how it feels. Women usually try and talk out the problem in order to educate and eradicate the problem. Trolls who hide and make threats from under cover are basically shitty little cowards. Women and men should have recourse to the law for protection from trolls who intimidate by making death, rape threats etc and these trolls should be exposed and jailed in the same way if they had made the threats face to face. Just because its digital doesn;t make it any less a threat.

    The simplest definition of an adjective is that it is a word that describes or clarifies a noun. it doesn't change the definition

    If the developers of "everything useful that depends on it" have updated their "xxx" to interact with it, just appeal to the developers of "xxx" to make the dependency optional.

    i have no interest in replacing it as it works for me but opensuse does have a sysvinit package you can install. I'm relying on the very vocal detractors of systemd to be sufficiently competent to install the init system of their choice because they are adopting the position of saying they are smarter and better than the developers of systemd.

    systemd is optional, you can remove it and replace it with any init system you like

    the majority of desktop users don't care, its only the few vocal few that do for various reasons either because they are Luddites or it'll ruin their working day to learn something new or they have to re-factor their servers for the new ways. i don't care either way as long as my opensuse system keeps working as it has done since the changeover. if i was administrating servers, it may care if i had to throw away a load of scripts i no longer need
