    He doesn;t seem to say here that its a new invention, just a better version of an old invention using existing components

    Blackberry have "Balance". Can Andriod/iOS split work/user data and keep both secure and separate and can a remote delete of data only delete work stuff?

    with the new BB Z10 and BB Balance, the users will not lose any control except of work related data/apps which needs to be secure especially in the finance arena.

    One thing missing is a secure split of apps and data on the same device. BB Balance (on paper) would appear to be the only real secure solution in the BYOD arena. remotely wipe ONLY the work data/apps, not allow copying of data from work to home are just a couple of "missing" elements on Driod/iOS

    you should be in your work mode during the day and only check personal stuff at lunchtime - are you one of those that should be allowed to play with facebook during work hours???

    i'm glad screens are getting bigger, more chance of bigger physical keys. 3 BB models would be great, no kb, full kb and slide kb.

    yep, but i'd prefer it be the Torch version so you can still get a bigger screen but alas its not.

    They might just do that with the "Balance" feature if they already have a BES in the corporation. If you didn;t know, it allows 2 user environments on the device, home and work. The work is controlled by the corp (apps and data), all work data is encrypted and you can't copy it to the home user. i think it creates more security for a corp that Andriod or iOS could even wish for.

    They might do well with the 2 mode operation of business and home login in this new climate of BYOD. The company can still control the business/apps use and keep the data separate and safe, they can wipe all the data etc off the device if the person leaves the company. I don't know if Android or iOS can separate work and home use in this manner

    its religions reason to exist - telling people how to live, who to have sex with etc.... the "liberals" are probably more aligned to the good bits of religion that the fundamentalists in that they want to cater for all rather than the church's view who only cater for themselves
