    X and kernel each do one thing?

    all those systemd functions you mentioned are separate and replaceable binaries so you need to update your scant knowledge of systemd and work out the difference between systemd the binary and systemd the project (definitely unfortunate naming).

    Protip: The faster boot is mainly for on demand start up/shutdown of VMs/Containers where you want as fast a start up as possible, the fact that all systems boot faster is a just a happy by product.

    "if you want to rely entirely on wind power" - i don't think anyone is suggesting "only relying" on any single form of power generation. The only ones to suggest the idea of a single form of power generation are those that wish to trash renewables. The offshore wind farms are pretty useful.

    being assertive is a skill that the people who defend the status quo do not understand. Why should, as you put it, people with "sensitive needs" drag themselves down to the gutter of this level of communication? Why can't the others drag themselves up a few levels, it would probably attract a load more talented people to the pool.
