    Any standard handsfree headset, huh?

How many wireless headsets are there for the Xbox 360 that doesn't require a dongle on the console or the controller?

What? How many? Oh, just the one from Microsoft. Hey, atleast you can use it as a standard headsfree handset for your cellphone or other devices? No? I see...

As for ripping music to the PS3, quite a few people do this, since they can throw in a 500 gig HD (for a lot less than the 120 gig MS disk).
Having the option of storing it as MP3 is very useful then, since you can easily transfer it to portable players.

"Note that the current firmware limitations of the internal wireless does not allow for monitor mode nor packet injection. An external USB WLAN is required for this type of operation."

I like how an external adapter can be an option, but as of now it's a requirement. This sort of ruins the image of this being "a powerful discreet network auditing tool for the penetration tester", atleast for me.
(They do mention that it's the current firmware limiting this, but there's nothing about if and when they'll "fix" this)

Which means it's of fairly limited use, atleast for now. I'm guessing that'll improve over the next couple of months though.

And if it's possible to clock the CPU up to 1 GHz (it's underclocked to 350 MHz?), maybe put in some more RAM and upgrade the HD, $300 ain't so bad for a HTPC with a design that your wife can accept in the living room. It having HDMI, DVI and WLAN isn't a bad thing either if they can get that working.

With this recent sun activity people in the northern regions of the globe should be able to see Northern Lights, probably stronger than the usual flares since the sun is now (almost) at a minimum.
Although I guess it's a bit of bad luck for Discovery and it's crew with the chance of powerful radiation storms...

Short Circuit, that's it! I've been wondering what that movie's called, but just couldn't remember anything except for how that robot looked. God, it's been close to 15 years since I saw that movie. And yes, the head does remind me of Johnny 5.
As for the article, this'll hopefully make for a fast release of leJOS for the NXT. Well, and other 3rd party firmwares and too ofcourse. Wise choice, Lego.
