Actually, as I recall, one of the more prominent theories now (Well, reading the newspaper a while back) is that Mad Cow in India may have come from throwing dead livestock in rivers...
But, linking Mad Cow to genetic research? Come on.
I can honestly say, with very VERY few exceptions, there has not been a book I have read that is better than Evangelion. Evangelion may have shocking production values, may lose sight of the plot, may not have enough rei, etc... But it's better than a lot of the tired rehashed pretentious crap that makes its way into litereature.
I can still remember how schocked/amazed/wtf'd I was after watching the Series and End of Evangelion... Brilliant
I can already point out one flaw. They use the blood of Lilith, not the bodily fluids of their mothers in the entry plugs. When Kaji shows Misato the LCL cycling plant, you can see the yellow/orange liquid draining from Lilith.
If a general backpack wont do, grab some vanvas and adapt/make one for yourself. You'll learn something in the process, and you'll have exactly what you want.
Simply befriend a nerd. They are a common species of parasite and can be found in nearly all urban centres. They charge little for their advice or knowhow, and usually can be bartered with using goods such as 'Coca-cola' and 'Chocolate'.
So, any chance it'll be worth playing? Anyone?
I remember playing Halo, I never saw what the fuss was about. Half-Life with prettier graphics, drivable vehicles and a few other quirks. Nothing special. I'm still waiting for Starcraft 2 at E3 dammit...
In my last year of highschool I'm doing a class which will basically net me a free certification, while leaving me time for important things like the hardest level of maths possible and physics. I'm counting that said computer class will not be noted on my UAI (University Admission Index, the little number that tells me whether it was worth going to school or not)...
But I never want to do a job near a computer again because of the class. Constant word, powerpoint and excel trite (Well, not excel once you get to do something fun with lots of formulas) really saps the will to want to go into a computer field. I once started playing around with BASIC a few years ago, and spent a few hours creating the worlds shittiest text adventure... But the thing is most computer classes are based around churning out secretary monkeys as quickly as possible, not anything challenging or interesting (Although we had a brief stint with Maya)
After getting back into CNC Generals, and reading this post and the $150 laptop computer post it all comes together when you realise that it only costs $600 to hire an asian man with a laptop to 'hack the internet' for $5 a second...

Nothing says science like launching lumps of metal with sensors on them through atmosphere's...

And not only is the game pathetic, the fans are worse
