Ok... Last I checked, Gates is pretty good at compromising. I mean, he doesn't do much of the actual work when it comes to the product anymore. I doubt he controls the advertising (which is one of the main reasons we hate MS), He donates so much money every year (and considering he's like filthy rich, that's a trait you don't see in many people as successful (comparitively) as him.) He has his own scholarship, his own charity, and as a person, he is regarded as a very nice person. The majority of the public doesn't see him as a bad guy... and in this spectrum, neither do I. For the very same reasons we hate him, are the very same reasons he would make a good president. Because he's good with people, because he's tedious and organized, he used to having subordinates do his work, and is a great figurehead - all the while keeping the top on the company, and an eye on the people below him, the product going out the door, and the way the consumer likes it, and him. For those reasons he'd be better than a politician. Because he's not all about himself and what he has... it's more about what happens... And that's an incredibly good quality to have in a president... or a politician in general. If we are to blame anyone for why we truly hate MS, I believe it should be Balmer... But, even then, he's not a terrible guy. We hate MS, because it's a product that people like... but are almost forced to use. Because they are nearly tyrannical in both the size and dealing of the company. And we hate Bill Gates for all of this... even though I doubt he should be blamed for all, if any of it.

Actually... if it's a NEXTEL you're talking about, those models, and anything similar to those (Motorola by the way) are, yes, more expensive. But, businesses, and even end users get better deals on those than on the V3's. Because after signing a contract or something (which you'd have to do to get RAZR's that cheap ~ They're usually $150-200) a consumer can get one for (in some cases and models) about fifty bucks. They may not have as many overall features (although some do) as the RAZR, and duh, they aren't as pretty... but, they still get the job done. I had one, and never had a single problem with it... And I think I accidentally threw it like... 20 feet on concrete one time.
As people said people choose style over function... which, is absolutely ridiculous...but, people do it.
Society doesn't care anymore about quality...
That's why our leaders tend to be morons obsessed more with money and business, and their own agendas, rather than the people who put them there...

I too had troubles with math. In fact, I failed my Algebra 1 class the first time I took it. But, the second time I took the class, I had a different teacher. Thanks to her, I gained a fondness for math (of which I had outright despised for years. Her main reason for getting me interested in math was for very similar reasons to yours. She let the students teach the other students whenever she was having trouble getting a concept across. Plus, she was only pro-active in our studies. She wouldn't just let us goof off in class, but, she did that in a good way. She made us want to keep looking and "getting" what we were learning. And to this day, I thank her for being the person to finally get through my math deprived mind. And also thanks to her, I am considering pursuits in college (Being a senior currently in highschool) more oriented towards more complex maths. So... it's all in how you are taught, and honestly, you could teach yourself, I find some of the best ways to learn a concept in math, is to see different variations on a problem, but backwards. More or less, "reverse engineer" the problem to come to where you started.

Personally, I am not too fond of iTunes anymore as it is. And, I'm actually losing favor with Apple. But I updated iTunes to 7 the other day, and aside from it being somewhat simpler looking, it's alot slower than previous versions, and I've also had issues with it not playing songs (Playing a song until it reaches the end, and then not finishing the song or changing the song, and manually changing song only ends up with that song starting at 00:00 and not playing at all). I've never actually used the iTunes Music Store (er... video store, whatever they call it now) aside from previewing songs for CD's that I would actually buy hard copies of. And even then, the samples they use, at times are not that good. So having low-quality videos does not surprise me. I love my iPod, and there was a time when I loved iTunes. But I guess that was back when the iPod wasn't a media-hog do-it-all portable media center. "Back in the day" when all an iPod did was play music, and all iTunes did was play music. iTunes and Quicktime were relatively seperated and it worked fine. I think sometimes Apple needs to realize when a system is broken, and when it isn't... But then again, so should alot of people.

I know what you mean man... people get on me for having my loud-ass IBM Model M Keyboard without windows keys... I wouldn't trade it for anything in the world... and yes... it is a PS/2 style as well, I love it to death, and it's the best keyboard I've ever used.
That's just hilarious.
