BTW, I've seen some very nice videos of this laser being tested in it's early testing (something around 2001 i wanna say); it'll destroy an ICBM very easily, and that was the motivation behind the Star Wars (http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Strategic_Defense_Initiative Reagen administration) program I think this falls under.
And the nose art on the C130 should be Mini-Me humping the laser...
Hey, when's the last time you tried managing a 4,000 page static website? The database back end is searchable as well, and it makes my job as a developer and other's as udaters or site managers much simpler, so we aren't spending millions of dollars with a team round the clock trying to change one link on 2,000 pages. Static HTML is great, for a 5 page site.
The 4 year university I attended had this same policy of blocking anything and everything. Thank goodness there was a cafe not 10 minutes away that had free (and free - wide open) wireless. I can understand some blocking (it's a Christian school, so they don't want people looking up "adult" content), but most of it is just annoying (they currently use WebSense and I graduated so I have 8 meg cable all to myself).
You win.
