Can anyone straighten this out... Its commonly agreed (I think) that Ewoks live on 'The Forest Moon of Endor', but is the moon actually called Endor, or does this forest moon actually orbit the planet Endor?
It may sound trivial but I've thought about it on and off for about 20 years:-)
Anyone??
My company had a problem with people from other companies parking in our car park, meaning there wasnt enough spaces for our employees.
Their solution? Make everyone who works here register their vehicle details with reception, and provide everyone with badges to display in their car window.
The problem? Nobody patrols the car park to check the badges, so the people who illegally parked before are still doing it, meanwhile we jump through hoops for no reason.
A corporation is not something that should attract 'fans'. A football team might, or maybe a band or something, but a faceless corporation?
Get some new friends dude!
I was born and raised in Sunderland, I was at school in the 80s when the shipyards and the coal mines were closing I saw a lot of depravation and the hardships that working class people faced under the thatcher government.
Then I studied IT at a local college, went to Sunderland University and got a degree in IT, now I work for one of the companies mentioned on the list in that article.
I really thought there was no hope for us back then. It makes me very proud of Sunderland that things have turned around,
Why not just give it a few days/weeks and try again, or look around online for one. Not having this console for a week or 2 isnt going to kill anyone, and is it really worth spending a night on the street?

Never mind taxing "the internet" - They should start taxing Slashdot editors for each dupe story.
