I'd expect the global uptake to be on par with the number of posts in this thread. But, it's mobile technology and I'm still kind of amazed at what people will be convinced is worth buying for the things they do with it.
Meh... We had this conversation in the firehose thread already.;)
There's a neat documentary in which parts are re-enacted but it's no the same as this movie you speak of - I've not seen the movie according to the other guy's comments/description. A search engine should find it, for those interested. Obviously I don't recall the name and lack initiative. But his name and the term documentary (and 'watch online') should find it. It might have even been at Hulu or Netlix but I seldom use either even though I pay for them.
Either way, my mouse is so very far away and I'm on a hotel bed with a wireless keyboard. I'm too lazy to Google for anyone. It's pretty good. For those who deride my laziness, well, I point to entropy.
I do smoke a lot of 'em so, yeah, they're probably pretty tough. I still managed to run a 5k and place first for my age group and 3rd over all this summer. The last batch of Cubans I got really had a lot of very distinct differences between them, hard to describe but inconsistent. I tend to get most of mine from across the border - in Canada. They are much better (and a lot less expensive) than if you go to Cuba (of course) though I've only been twice.
It's really hard to explain the flavor. They are definitely distinct. I suspect my preference is because I've been used to other variations for most of my adult life. It probably doesn't help that I smoked cigarettes for a number of years.
Anyhow, it's not like I sit there and smoke a whole cigar and inhale the entire thing at one time. I'll light it, smoke some, forget it's going, notice it's out and still in my mouth (or an ashtray) an relight it and then chuck it away and grab a new one 'cause they get kind of gross after you relight them a few times. If I had to guess an average then I'd say that I might be smoking 1/2 to 2/3. Rough estimate, of course. I kind of like the feel and I'm sure I'm addicted as all hell though I don't seem to mind too much when I stop smoking for a while? Maybe the cravings don't bother me too much as I've dealt with other addictions in the past.
You can do better than that. If you're going to attempt to appear psychotic then you can do much better. Also, it's the internet. You can say 'shit' if you want to. No need to call him Dr. Poop. Also, I'm guessing they have people of varied races on the show. I've never seen it. I suspect you have, however. Actually, I haven't seen it since it was the really old episodes that were syndicated and played on PBS but that was many years ago.
Just picture a basement dweller in a school color mini skirt and typing while simultaneously wearing pompoms. It helps. It's also handy when political discussions come up.
There was a Clippy for Linux project, I found an online variant at one point as well but that was AJAX but one could port it I suppose. I should revive that project as an add-on for LibreOffice. I guess it would be better for the terminal. "I see you're trying to invoke sudo, would you like the man pages for that?" I'm pretty sure that I'd lose any shred of remaining credibility at that point.
Sometimes I like to believe that but a combination of Poe's Law and Occam's Razor really make me weep for humanity. Usually, I try to do my own form of blissful ignorance and assume they're trolling. Trolling is, after all, a art.
How so? At no point does the Bible state that God only created humans nor does it exclude the idea that he created beings not in his image. I'm no biblical scholar nor a Christian but I don't see where it is incompatible or anything. It doesn't even extend to beyond the Earth so far as I know, except for the heavens which can be defined in a variety of ways. I have read the entire Bible but I didn't really understand all of it so I may be missing something. I should probably read it in a format other than the KJV.
Maybe I'm missing something but, it seems to me, the two actually go hand-in-hand with your standard configuration of an ICE. The more miles you go on one unit of fuel then the less pollutants are being released per mile of fuel. It's not like making it more efficient is suddenly going to mean a greater volume of emissions given that matter is neither created nor destroyed. There may be some efficiency lost due to sequestration but that should be overcome by greater efficiencies. Am I missing something with heat loss, perhaps?
You can edit all the software that you own. At least all the software that I know of. I can't think of any software that you own that you can't edit it. In fact, that's one of the key pieces of ownership.
That's because you own your house. You do not own your software. You buy a license to use your software. Well, unless it's open source. Then you're free to break in if you want to. I prefer to break stuff - often with bad results. So, I typically try use open source software.
Run for office if you think you can do a better job. I am, or will be - technically. I'm running for the State senate and should have adequate signatures given my initial inquiries. Why am I running? I don't think the current person is doing their job as a representative and is currently pushing their own agenda. There are times when you do, in fact, push your agenda but - to my mind - the ultimate goal is not to do what you want personally but to know and act on the will of those you represent.
I am funding (not even taking 'matching funds' from fair election laws in my state) my entire election and it's not even all that expensive from the looks of things. I've spent, maybe, $15,000 in initial work/research - not counting my time. I could have done it for far less but I'm not that industrious and would rather rely on a campaign manager and a lawyer as well as a separate accountant.
I accept no donations, not even from private citizens. I have no need for such and would not want to be seen as being more beholden to one than to another. I certainly accept no donations from business community members. I will pay for absolutely zero television or radio ads but I can not prevent others from doing so on my behalf though I do not have to approve of them - that is still a matter of debate. I'm having graphics created so that people can make or have printed their own signs, they'll be released under CC licensing.
In a round-about way you could say that I am accepting non-financial donations in the form of people's time, energy, and their own personal expenses if they choose to support me. This is the only way I would run and, given the dislike of the incumbent, I'm actually standing a pretty good chance of winning. I look forward to this because then I can be late to a session and drive as fast as I want to and the State Police can't stop me and must, if asked, provide an escort. (I can not be impeded on my route to an open session. Not even by the police. And yes, yes this is an attempt at humor.)
My platform basically consists of everything I can think of that's in my 'closet' and what I've learned from it. The back of the paper says exactly what I stand for - which is the rights of the citizen above all else where the good of society as a whole is of a lesser value. That sums it up nicely but I really don't have anything to say that fits on a bumper sticker. As of yet, my current flier design doesn't actually take a whole sheet of paper. So, I'm going to strive to commit a few more legal infractions and generally be a pain in the ass so that I can fill the paper up better. (Again, that's an attempt at humor.)
Here is what I've done wrong. Here is what I have learned from it. This is how I intend to act on these lessons and how they'll affect my decision making.
Then again, I should point out that I reside in a very rural area of Maine. I know a little about lots of things and and a lot about a few things. What I do know is that I don't know everything so I've learned to ask questions and accept reasonable answers from those who do know. I don't have any great political aspirations beyond this office nor do I need the money from being elected. I'll probably donate that to charity, specifically a local one, and may hold some sort of town-hall meeting to determine which charity is favored by the constituents.
*shrugs*
It's worth a shot. I might as well try it. The current person isn't doing a very good job. I don't really want to do this but someone needs to step up and that someone has to be in a position where they can try this. So, yeah. It's not like I was doing anything better with my time.
They call that Libertarian. Unfortunately, the party has been coopted by Republicans who are too ashamed to be associated with the party and have no idea of its history or original goals - sometimes called a Classic Libertarian. Ayn Rand was an idiot. As a Classic Libertarian, I'm far more likely to vote for Bernie Sanders than I am to vote for Rand Paul. That, my good sir, is how warped our political spectrum is.
For a fairly narrow subset of uses, yes. So isn't Linux I believe. You can call all sorts of shit Windows, just not your operating system. I should find one of those graphics overlay companies and have them make a design up that has the Windows 10 logo on it. I don't generally use Windows and haven't used Windows 10 at all but it would be amusing.
While you do, certainly, have a valid point - I'd submit that there's a nicer way to state it. When you address things like an asshole people will treat you like an asshole. Then worse, they'll be prejudiced and ignore your views simply because of how you stated them and will discount others who do back up your points regardless of their merits. You've not only done yourself a disservice but have affected others as well, albeit trivially in this case.
Yes, that's why when you see a biker in NSW you should always give them the middle finger and call them derogatory names based on their sexual orientation. It's traditional and I insist you do so every time you go to Australia. You can try it in the country you live in - especially if you're in America. Just give them the finger and call them "fags" and you'll be accepted as part of the group immediately. They'll even buy you beer and set you up with hookers. Make sure that you smile broadly while doing so. They consider this a sign of welcome and it's part of their traditional greeting ceremony.
I probably will outlive my doctor. He's in his late 70s. I am in my late 50s. Longevity also runs in my family. See what happens when you jump to conclusions with too little information? Silly goose.
S'not a problem. I'm not a huge fan of moderation and I have no idea how I have excellent karma as I am usually so far off topic that it's become a habit.;)
I'd guess the average cigar that I smoke would be about $10 and I smoke as many as five a day on an average day. It's costly but worth it. What confuses me is those people who'd smoke them and not inhale. I mean, yeah, I did that first but I learned better ways. That's like having a 1/2 gram of crack/day addiction and just lighting it on fire for the smell! Absurd!
Anyhow, I suspect I've annoyed someone. They'll get tired eventually. Every couple of days someone comes along and marks me off-topic. Which is true, and I don't mind at all, so there's no need to waste mod points on me in either direction. Quite often someone comes along and 'fixes' it. I could just post with my karma bonus but where's the fun in that?
And for everything else, there's Mastercard.
I'd expect the global uptake to be on par with the number of posts in this thread. But, it's mobile technology and I'm still kind of amazed at what people will be convinced is worth buying for the things they do with it.

So does that mean Windows is like Pokemon?

So it needs the "Microsoft" in order to qualify as a trademark violation?

sudo add-apt-repository ppa:libreoffice/ppa
sudo apt-get update
That'll get your Windows box upgraded to the new version just fine. *nods*

Heh... I should have scrolled down. Ah well. Maybe someone will read my reply and actually do some research.

There you go again. It appears that you failed to pay attention the first time.
So, I'll entertain you - I'm not doing anything more important. Let's start with the beginning, shall we?
Where did you attend medical school?
What was your specialty?
When did you pass the board?
Where do you currently practice?
This, folks, is why you should adhere to the prescribed medication schedule.
