You do realize that its not technically feasible to incorporate "Gaming" video cards into GPU's right?
Most GPU's put as much if not more heat, and require copious amounts of said power. There is no way that they are putting those two together anytime soon.
When they talk about built in GPU/CPU's they are doing it for one purpose. Mobile and Embedded designs. Being able to remove all the real-estate required to place a graphics chip and its components along side the CPU and instead put all of that into one single chip is going to be a big deal.
The problem as commented in the above reply is that Intel already has the largest market share for "Low end" graphics cards. Those cheap Intel video chipsets are a business Intel has been in for a lot longer time than AMD or even ATI.
I dont see CPU/GPU combo's taking a large stand in the desktop market for a while, and even then its only going to be really usable in Micro-ATX or smaller formfactors where theres no other option.
Why not just use virtual machines and or systems booted off Flash drives/CD Roms?
You can pre-configure them to have as little or as much information available to them as you want. Delete all the control panel stuff, my computer stuff
Just have it boot a system, load a network driver and open a browser.
If something goes wrong, show them where the reboot button is...
The only thing left to worry about is all that porn, i dont think old people realize what a sick and twisted place the internet really is >:)
Apparently you didnt know that Intel released Conroe's to be benchmarked, nice and convienent that they did it on AMD's release day no?:) Good marketting if you ask me..kill all the hype about AMD's release day and make it about Intel...

And this is with a gimped Intel board running at 677mhz instead of 800, and only 1Gig of ram not 2 Gigs like the FX62...
Also a key thing to note that seems to have passed alot of peoples radars...
They are comparing an Intel MOBILE chip & chipset, which are notoriously underclocked, to AMD's HIGH END Desktop processors, which are very robust.
The fact that any Mobile platform can surpass or pretty much be the equal to the high end of the FX line is quite the achievement.
And as somebody else said above, this isnt the new architecture, its still using Netburst. To me atleast it shows that Intel is moving in the right direction..the Conroe(Core Duo 2) should be quite the sight to see.
And dont get all hyped up on not having seen Conroe benchmarks online, i havent seen any AM2 benchmarks either and its coming out in afew days not afew weeks/months like Conroe.
