Finally the missing peice needed to build my coconut radio. The sugar can power it.
PS if anyone reads this I'm stuck on a deserted island after a 3 hour tour.
Kids, you have to defeat the senior citizens. They wake up too early for us grown ups. But you wake up early for cartoons and school. You might stand a chance.
I love South Park
I haven't used anything since Breezy Badger, but it really was easier to use for most everyday things than Windows(in my opinion). But it definatly wasn't girlfriend/mom/grandparent ready. I had problems with wireless connectivity and the fix was definetly not user friendly. Anything involving the terminal will freak out the typical user.
It will let the average Joe know that something other than Windows and OS/X exists. It's Linux. It's free. And know with Ubuntu average Joe has a shot at getting it to work. Most people don't know that Linux exists, so maybe this won't convince them to make the switch, but it will let them know what Linux is. They can then ask the friendly neighborhood geek a few questions and its all penguins from there.
What's scary is that if Microsoft starts astroturfing fanboyism, what happens to the independant fanboys when Microsoft uses its monopoly to push them out of the fanboy business.
You're right no one buys a book becouse it's a bestseller, but everyone hears about a book that is a bestseller. The publicity of being listed in the top ten on Amazon's homepage will move a ton of paper, even if you're book is mediocre. There are so many books being published today that anything to get the publics attention is worth it.
The whole point of this is to create a viral sensation. Viral sensations seem to work best when its a parody and appears to be done by amateurs. And guess what? It worked. I've seen this reported on nearly every tech site (of course./ is one of the last) and Novell hardly had to spend any money. Grated they're mostly preaching to the quire, but you get what you pay for.
Its true its been posted and duped twice on Digg as far as I know.
Oh and Luke used his dad's lightsaber for a while, just as I'm posting on my mom's Dell. Only I can't deflect lasers with it. Wait, that gives me a thought.

People seem to forget that the DS started widening the game market with titles like Brain Age and Nintendogs. The Wii is just an extension of that.
There has to be a side quest in which you walk to school in the snow uphill both ways.
