So MP3.com was driven into bankruptcy, and the "buy a CD, get an MP3" concept fell by the wayside.

After news broke on Thursday that a new Java 0-day vulnerability had been discovered, and was already being included in multiple popular exploit kits, two new important tidbits have come in on Friday.
Meanwhile, writes reader Beeftopia, the U.S. Department of Homeland Security is getting in on the action, and "has warned users to disable or uninstall Java software on their computers, amid continuing fears and an escalation in warnings from security experts that hundreds of millions of business and consumer users are vulnerable to a serious flaw."
Hopper debuted at number five in the list of Top500 supercomputers, and can crunch numbers at the petaflop level.
But there is a market for Lamborghinis, and there is a market for computer cases that cost as much as a complete low-end computer.

When Android was first introduced, it got much of its buzz in the open source community, and despite it being a mobile juggernaut backed by huge companies, it remains an open source project that anyone can submit code to.
You could argue this is a series of three except that every single comma in that sentence is unnecessary
You obviously didn't check the summaries from the last 24hrs then. There are MANY examples of series of two or less where there is a comma before the 'and'.
Even just getting public transport will keep a few pounds off, it might not turn you into an uber-athlete but the extra mile of walking and standing around waiting for the train/bus still helps (compared to driving to work).
Sorry, I thought you just wanted to recover the data. Personally I just whip out the old HDD (takes 5mins in most cases, probably a lot longer for a Mac though) and plug it into my laptop (which boots in like 1min) via a USB adapter. From where I can run all sorts of recovery tools as fast as the HDD can work and without dealing with a sluggish interface on the host machine.
If the host computer is too slow to run a full on distro why not spend 5mins removing the drive and plugging it into a faster computer? There are many, cheap USB -> IDE/SATA adapters on the market.
The tablet was wrapped up in it's special case and it was dropped from 100,000ft (via a helium balloon). Also attached to it was a GoPro to film the whole thing. The GoPro was just in its own standard plastic case!
However I know of several other (unofficial?) mounts such as kite-line mounts (for mounting the camera up in a kite or paraglider canopy), I've even seen 'follow cam' systems being used where the gopro is tethered to the back of paraglider canopy and 'flies' behind you:
Admittedly the above product can work with many different products, not just GoPro.
Another reason for the success of the GoPro would be the way they teamed up with RedBull to make head cam footage for snowboarding, mountain biking, BASE jumping etc videos:
Although the GoPro might not be the BEST camara out there for the price it certainly works well enough for a LOT of people who want something tough and reliable with good HD video without spending >€500
I have no affiliation with GoPro or any of the other companies mentioned here.
In my Windows days I always made good use of the Quick Launch toolbar for that exact reason. Clicking the 'Reveal Desktop' button then choosing which app to launch was always a bit slower than expanding the quick launch then clicking an app (although it was the same number of clicks).
These days I'm on Gnome2 (still haven't left Lucid Lynx quite) and the top panel achieves this without the extra click because separating windows and widgets/launchers into two panels means plenty of free space so you don't need to expand the 'quick launch', you just have a long row of icons (12 icons currently although there is space for another 10 if need be).
However I still find it useful to have mounted drives listed on the desktop because I often have quite a lot of them and wouldn't want them to clutter the dock/panel/taskbar etc.
By your reasoning, Switzerland should be a madhouse of old-west style gunfights; I'll leave it to you to discover whether or not that is the case.
And my point was that relatively speaking, compared to it's neighbours with lower levels of gun ownership, Switzerland has very high levels of gun related deaths.
Switzerland has 14 times the number of gun related deaths (per head of population) than that of the UK where guns are much harder to acquire. So although Switzerland may look like a peaceful place compared to the US it still has a significantly worse gun problem than equivalent European countries:

Just checked, make it the sixth summary in 24hrs. A couple of them had two ", and"s.
I'm pretty sure that this is the third summary in the last few days with a comma before an 'and'.
FTFM
I'm pretty sure that this is the third summary today with a comma before an 'and'.
I know, I should know better than to ask for proper grammar from our editors...
Sorry, no mod points left but +1 Insightful.

I'm glad I live in the UK where we don't have to worry about this sort of thing.
Remember this one from January?

Is the Polish slider similarly named even if I'm using the Czech version?
-1 Overinformative

If I can maximize a window without using the mouse to drag out the corner of the window then it is more usable than OSX for me.
If you want the option to tweak yourself how will we know what sex you are?
Hmm... not so much. Switzerland still has gun related homicides ~13x higher than the UK
Okay, let's re-phrase it, the US has the highest rate of gun related deaths in the first world.
You are less likely to get shot in the Philippines, South Africa, Nicaragua or Zimbabwe to name just a few.
Don't forget to look at the statistics as well, the gun related death rate in CH is NOT insignificant:
They have the second highest rate of gun related deaths in Western Europe, just below Finland. That's 14 time the number we have in the UK.
Switzerland has 14 times the number of gun related deaths (per head of population) than that of the UK where guns are much harder to acquire. So although Switzerland may look like a peaceful place compared to the US it still has a significantly worse gun problem than equivalent European countries:
