Jail is rather harsh for something like this, a victimless crime. I would have invited him into a room without a security camera and beat the shit out of him.
There is no reason to sentence someone to prison for something as silly as this. Is selling a gaming system destroying the moral fabric of society? I don't think so, but don't complain when "real criminals" are let go on probation because we have to teach a lesson to these copyright violators.

Apple makes the best laptop (Powerbook, Macbook).
Linux and BSD's are for servers. True, i use FreeBSD on my work PC, but my window manager is Fluxbox and I normally use it for utilitarian tasks. Why is there so much energy spent on perfecting Linux for the desktop? Get a fucking Mac, your life will be easier. No more wasted time making things work under inopportune conditions.
That's a very asinine and presumptuous comment to make. I spend a lot more than that a year on tech, but I get by. Bottom line:
This is about apple being cheap by using sub-grade foreign devolpers, not if I buy a macbook and can't pay the bills.
