It's a much shorter range of motion, and within the normal range, rather than the extreme angle that my wrists are forced into with a regular mouse. It does take a week or so to get used to, though.

It's very easy to have two mice connected. That way, you can have the vertical mouse for most tasks, and the conventional mouse for precision tasks.
