I thought they stopped doing that when they stopped calling themselves "SPA". Isn't their primary function now to ensure that companies aren't using unlicensed software?

Simply put, Brian doesn't have time to drag JP to court. He's (Brian, not John) content to post his rebuttals and make JP look like the foolish media whore that he is.

Speaking of media whoring, don't worry about Slashdot getting your questions to JP; I'm certain he's following these messages closely :)

a.) Did you feel special to be interviewed as an "expert" on MTV with the other script-kiddies for the Real Life episode "I'm a Hacker"?

b.) Do you honestly expect people to ever take you seriously again, if they had even the slightest modicum of interest in you before?

Incidentally, I had never heard of you before my friends in the security field made me aware of your general stupidity and libelous mannerisms. Did you and Carolyn get the _Secrets of a Superhacker_ book lovingly signed by 303? :)

  5. Relax on IDG and 'Trademark Dilution' For Dummies · · Score: 1
All you publishing writers will recognize IDG's letter for what it is: a paper trail to establish that they've tried to keep their trademark from becoming diluted into common usage. If they had no such proof, a competitor could claim that the trademark was a "household word" (or phrase) and that the original copyright holder had no legal claim to it anymore. This has happened in the past. Keep using "...for Dummies'; IDG won't really care as long as you don't step on their toes.

The NSA circumvents the law by spying on the UK instead, and they in turn spy on us. Then the two agencies exchange info. Did you even bother to read about Echelon?
