Unbreakable CAPTCHA Replacement: Which of the following would you most prefer? A: a puppy, B: a pretty flower from your sweety, or C: a large properly formatted data file?
If you look closely enough you will see THREE pixels, one red, one green, one blue. Actually, you will see one red, one green and two blue. This is because blue pixels are not as bright as the other two so you have to use two blues to make up the difference. I knew that semiconductor manufacturing lab course would come in handy some day.
The original XBox had the codename of Midway. Midway was the battle in the Pacific that essentially guaranteed that Japan could not invade the US. The US sunk all of Japan's main carriers and then started pushing back the Japanese all other fronts. So I guess naming things after the defeat of Japan in WWII is common practice within Microsoft HQ.
Console developers could come together and make a hardware/api "standard." Same type of disc, same hardware capability, etc. Console developers could come together and make a hardware/api "standard." Same type of disc, same hardware capability, etc.
They have, it's pixel shader 3.0, DirectX 10, x86, cd/dvd and the windows OS.
(Note: there are more hardware and api standards but listing all would go beyond the point.)
They are constantly threatened with legal actions due to their awful link of the day section. They have in their legal threats sections several threats to sue them due to this. Something Awful always defended with their right to free speech. I guess that's no longer going to defend them and they may need to hire a real lawyer (Sorry Crabs, Please don't eat me).
It's obviously not for gamers but more for investors who like games. The best line in there is:
"Her efforts in 2006 have sought to leverage the synergy between the new generation of consoles and Best Buy's other great interest..."
If that is not corporate shit I don't know what is.
A great game that got overlooked by almost everyone was a game called Deathrow. It featured the most intense frisbee game on any console. It was half free fighting game, half sports game and wasted a good amount of my time. It got great reviews but I guess since it had lots of course language (the characters would curse at each other during the matches), and not much advertising it didn't do well. Still one of my favorite xbox games.
No, it is the bad kind of puppy.

Just make sure to use protection with your Lucy Liu bot, or did they not show you "Electro Gonorrhea: The Noisy Killer"

There is a necessity to eat, hence, you need money. So don't doubt profits push on invention.
