I am sorry if I am wrong but wasn't this covered some 217 years ago........
"Madison's version of the speech and press clauses, introduced in the House of Representatives on June 8, 1789, provided: ''The people shall not be deprived or abridged of their right to speak, to write, or to publish their sentiments; and the freedom of the press, as one of the great bulwarks of liberty, shall be inviolable.''1 The special committee rewrote the language to some extent, adding other provisions from Madison's draft, to make it read: ''The freedom of speech and of the press, and the right of the people peaceably to assemble and consult for their common good, and to apply to the Government for redress of grievances, shall not be infringed.''2 In this form it went to the Senate, which rewrote it to read: ''That Congress shall make no law abridging the freedom of speech, or of the press, or the right of the people peaceably to assemble and consult for their common good, and to petition the government for a redress of grievances.''3 Subsequently, the religion clauses and these clauses were combined by the Senate.4 The final language was agreed upon in conference."
Or does this not apply to forums of speech that some people don't like.
This just screams pimp to me.

I am actually surprised by all this have people really not figured it out by now this same thing happened with Windows 2000 and Windows XP. Every release of Windows Microsoft sends out press releases talking about there new anti piracy measures then they scale them way back at release. There is a pattern here each time they scale it back the people go ok 30 days before lock out that's ok and it gets a little worse with each release and or service pack.
I for one hate the idea of rebates for class action law suites I mean really it's like sending someone a post card in the mail that reads
"sorry we screwed you here you can get some free stuff from us but us only so we still get targeted advertising since we know you all like our products anyway
PS SCREW YOU FOR NOT BENDING OVER FOR US WE ARE YOUR OVERLORDS!"
I think I might be in the minority here but I think this is a great idea and it will work but only if the students have the right parents because it is the parent's involvement that will make all the difference in this type of program. If the kids get to just sit around all day because this acts as nothing more then a babysitter to the parents the program will fail if the parents sit and work with the kids it will work great.
I am sorry but this whole thing is starting to make me sick the internet started as a DARPA project and since that's our tax dollars, when do I get to charge the phone companies and anyone else who wants to use my services. I say if they don't want it to be neutral fine pay every American and every person who contributed to tcp/ip the darpa project and every other project that built the network they are using!
Good day to you sir I SAID GOOD DAY!
It really is nothing more then supply and demand if you can get a large enough quantity of something that a lot of people want you can get rich with ebay or just selling it on your own website unless you have like 10,000 stolen ipods then you can get rich anywhere.
"..but in actual fact, it is about the security and privacy of the users. Some research that we've done finds that the incidence of malware (malicious software) is a lot higher on pirated software, so we really are trying to make sure that users really have the opportunity to protect themselves. "
I really hope no one believes this whole its for you own good thing I mean come on its about the oldest pr trick in the world.
Interesting problems come about from something like this I mean what protocols are they using is there a way to remotely interact with these landmines or remotely disable them?
Well it almost makes me feel better that they got it back cause they sent me some letter about how my name is on that list oh wait I am still pissed never mind.
I would guess more like out of a job along with half of our currently elected officials.
And who said anything about John Kerry I am sure this would affect him also.
Google is an innovator in many ways and I believe this may scare the most unoriginal Software company ever Microsoft, we can only hope there is a Google OS coming soon!
Wow I am reminded of al gore and his famous "During my service in the United States Congress, I took the initiative in creating the Internet" which everyone misquoted after that saying he invented the internet. Anyway I digress the point is this guy obviously has no idea how the internet works and yet for some reason we let people like this run our country. I say we start a new law where we can impeach anyone of any office for being clinically retarded if you have an IQ of 70 or below your gone but then again where would that leave bush?
And I love this "I want people to understand my position" does anyone here have a better understanding of his position after reading this hmmmmm.
Um where in the article did it say it was another email scam? Oh wait it didn't It has nothing to do with email it has to do with "They are presented with a message that has been 'injected' onto the genuine PayPal site" "via a cross-site scripting technique."
It has nothing to do with email.

Sorry, but if you are dumb enough to still fall for the "Update your account" email then you deserve to have your identity stolen.

Um no you don't have to prove anything a nice case in point is this guy trying to patent a moist towel dispenser just by adding a ridge to it..... http://www.inventorhome.com/inventions/Weekly/Week lySm.asp?PatNo=6889867&MaxPg=9&ClasNo=221/33/
Welcome to the club and good luck with your new version of the DMCA given the great success we here in the USA have had with a law such as this.
Fact just because you were the first to patent the wheel does not mean you invented it. STOP trying to sue everyone for using it.

I must be tired I saw body bags instead of goody bags that would be some hardcore negotiations.
I was trying to think of some good point brought up in this article but I failed.
