    Gung-ho Mac users think Apple has changed their life (for the better). Most people who buy iPods do it because its cool and cute (gag). The same people who bought iPods because they were cool are just going to move on to the next cool thing.

    Its 160,000 sq ft with 30,000 sq ft of clean rooms. Of course it won't be done till the summer of 2008 and cost $80M. The biggest private contribution has been from Bernie Marcus, one of the founders of Home Depot, for $15M.

    and say that $20 of bulk anything (imagine canned soup or detergent) weighs a lot more than $20 of books. The free shipping deal on groceries is nice, but I wonder how much of it is amazon just sucking it up till it seriously gets off the ground.

    it might work out ok. But unless they can cut some serious deals with FedEx/UPS/USPS, shipping and handling for bulk detergent is going to be expensive. Still, its better than having to deal with the smelly and crowded walmarts around here.

    Considering MySpace now is in the top 10 list by traffic volume, Google and Nielsen are just going to show the need for more stupid reality tv and medical dramas.

    but there are companies like BzzAgent that are doing organized word-of-mouth programs? They just seem a lot worse.
