Aren't speed cameras common in the US? If not, it might explain all those 10+ car pile ups on freeways that always happen.
Over here (Australia), they take photos only when they detect you speeding. Do people see this as an invasion of privacy or something? If you don't break the law, you won't get photographed...
And 11 miles above the speed limit is very very lenient... I really think you guys should stop whining.
I think Starship Troopers is a good b-grade action sci-fi, despite it not following the book at all. It's in the same league as Total Recall, in terms of quality.
The entire story takes place over a few years. The Mule is played by a devious British actor. The protagonist, probably a middle aged guy with a dysfunctional family or a young guy after a girl, builds Terminus, defeats The Empire, defeats The Mule. The Second Foundation is a shadowy organisation who at the start appears like an enemy but helps the protagonist over the course of the movie. There will be at least three massive space battles. Hari will be played by Morgan Freeman. The scale will be reduced, as Galaxies are too big for the average person to comprehend. There will be aliens and robots, perhaps alien robots.
A fine layer of silica is very minimal amount of material. Also, if it is scratched off, I doubt it would become airborne. I imagine it would come off in layers. You need a very fine powder to cause silicosis.
Silicosis occurs in industries like mining where solid quartz is pulverised into a fine dust with drilling. Miners would be doing this everyday 8-12 hours a day, breathing in the silica and getting silicosis. This does not occur in modern mining operations as they use water to stop the dust becoming airborne. I believe some 3rd world mines are dry and I presume they would use dust masks when drilling.

Pedology is the study of soils, logically pedophiles would be soil lovers too. Dirty pedophiles...
