    It has nothing to do with Netflix specifically. The article is sensationalist FUD. It's like saying Slashdot users are in danger of unknowingly picking up malware because someone found a javascript exploit.

    When you're on the road with other drivers you are not managing just your own risk. You are putting others at risk as well. Yeah I'm taking a risk by leaving my house every day but I don't need some jackass blowing out a tire at 100mph while passing me on the highway and taking out my entire family.

    It looks like they were trying to show that Scotty invented or at least had a hand in creating holodeck technology. I don't remember TNG ever discussing the origins of the holodeck. Besides, TOS used left over costumes from bad westerns and gladiator movies to move their plots along. Not much different from what the holodeck was used for.

    In response to your question about the "Don't Talk to Cops" video: OK, but what did he mean?

    He means, guilty or not, if you are under suspicion of a crime, the cops are NOT looking for evidence to exonerate you. They are looking for anything and everything that can be used to prove your guilt. Including twisting your words in such a way to make you sound as if you were lying or trying to hide something.
